Why are pattern ships almost without exception tail draggers. Surely trikes
are more stable.
Look forward to some pattern pilots reasoning here.

 I have a question...  I have the hobbico rc multi charger(hcap0100)
in the house here...  it has  3 pos switches for 100ma,250,500..
 all my packs are 600ma  how do i know which posistion to put the

I think it might be easier to ask this here than to go to the shop and
assemble all the necessary equipment to try it....
If I have a aileron/elevator/rudder/throttle model that I fly with my Futaba
8U Super, but the model uses separate aileron servos, for instance, can that

I have recently completed an electric model (Miss Hanger 1) and have
just had a couple of test runs to check-out the installation.  The
model was NOT flown on these runs but was tethered.  Neither the motor
nor the battery packs have been run before.

First time rc flyer. I am building the Goldberg 550 kit.
I am at the point of glueing the engine mounts in place (electric
motor)
The two sticks seem to run downward and out to an angle if I mount them

Just time for a quick post before I watch the Tour de France on telly.
After my debacle with the test flight of the Ben Buckle Challenger I set
to to sort out the problems that had been revealed. I altered the
control throws and checked their setup with the transmitter... so far so

There used to be a web site with pictures and drawings for an R/C
flight bench.  Some clubs up east and I think in England made them for
their flying fields....I tried to access the site and found it is no
longer active. Does anyone know where I might find this information??
