Why are pattern ships almost without exception tail draggers. Surely trikes are more stable. Look forward to some pattern pilots reasoning here. Thanks to all replies in advance.

I have recently completed an electric model (Miss Hanger 1) and have just had a couple of test runs to check-out the installation. The model was NOT flown on these runs but was tethered. Neither the motor nor the battery packs have been run before.

There used to be a web site with pictures and drawings for an R/C flight bench. Some clubs up east and I think in England made them for their flying fields....I tried to access the site and found it is no longer active. Does anyone know where I might find this information??
