I am rapidly becoming our club's deadstick champion! Aborted takeoffs, 6 ft in the air, a speciality. We have a most unforgiving hedge to get over when the wind is from the NW!. My new RMX 40 ( fitted upright) powers my World Models Superstunt 40

| 1/6 Scale P-51D | 29 Aug 2006 23:51 GMT | 1 |
Anyone know who makes a good 1/6 scale P-51D kit? The size I'm looking for falls between the 2 Top-Flite kits. Hangar-9 has a 1/6 scale Mustang, but it's an ARF. I've found references to a Pica kit, but I'm not sure if they're still in business. Looking for recommendations.

| Colors for a Patriot | 29 Aug 2006 01:30 GMT | 7 |
I'm wondering if I would be able to see my Patriot if I covered it with Monocoat Silver (brushed aluminum look) and used the Highly reflective silver that you find on the long trim sheets at the LHS.This trim stuff is really shiny. Kinda tired of the yellow and red and just want

| Two million more | 28 Aug 2006 17:19 GMT | 8 |
Just announced on the news tonight.... Another computer company (missed the name) is recalling 2 million lap top batteries as there are safety concerns about them going on fire. I guess they will re-furbish them and sell them to gullible aero

| Forming Charge For Small Battery Packs | 28 Aug 2006 07:19 GMT | 5 |
I've got some 6 Cell, NiCd battery packs of 270 mAh & 400 mAh capacities that I need to charge for the first time. There are different schools of thought on whether or not modern NiCd cells still need to be conditioned with a forming charge, but I do it just because it can't ...
