Anyone seen a USB video camera work on a plane?26 Sep 2006 07:14 GMT9
I'm looking for a little solid-state video camera which I can mount on
an RC plane.  I think my wife's cheating on me and I want to spy on
her (Hehe I'm only joking about that part).  But I heard it's possible
to get a relatively cheap solid state video camera. i.e one that

Robart Robostruts25 Sep 2006 02:34 GMT1
A while back, I bought a set of Robostruts ($!) for a trike gear model.
Since then, I decided to buy retracts for it and they come with telescopic
struts.

hobie hawk sailplane25 Sep 2006 02:31 GMT1
An acquaintance of mine who does not have internet access would like to
sell a Hobie Hawk sailplane.  I have not seen the plane.  He tells me
that it has damage to one wing.  If you're interested, let me know.
Sure fire way to fit slipping pinion onto motor shaft??24 Sep 2006 23:25 GMT2
Well I'm struggling with this one....It's a 480 motor, metal shaft
(obviously), but a plastic pinion. The pinion is not a very tight fit
on the shaft to start with (wear?), so it slips like crazy when I open
the throttle. I've tried cyano and epoxy but no joy. If it was a metal

These Dubro belt reduction units are fun to play with. No, I'm not selling
this and I'm not connected with the seller in any way.
I wonder how large of a glow engine it would host? It says it is designed

Outrunner motor with gearbox :  Query??23 Sep 2006 15:33 GMT1
By way of a change and something I can "play with" in my garden, I
have recently bought an Ultrafly Ultimate electric model (small
electric models are a new experience to me - I am more used to power
models up to quarter scale in size).

Looking for Specifications for the UltraFly Frio-10 Brushless motor?23 Sep 2006 05:39 GMT1
I'm trying to find some specs for the UltraFly Frio-10 Brushless Motor
(and possibly the other Frio motors).
I have contacted UltraFly and they simply point me to their FAQ which
only lists the KV and maximum power for the motor.  I was hoping to

Futaba buddy box connector22 Sep 2006 18:28 GMT8
Down very many years I have used buddy box cables on countless occasions and
have never had a problem. Normally these have been terminated with DIN plugs
which fitted into sockets mounted into the transmitter case. Last year I
bought a new Futaba transmitter with the newer small ...
#%*@ing computer Tx programming22 Sep 2006 01:44 GMT12
I have a pretty good handle on radio programming, or so I thought.  I've
used a Futaba 8U Super for several years and just bought a 9C Super (which
is much easier to program).  I've used the mixing capabilities to clean up
my knife edge flight, counter the pitch affects of ...
