I was heavy into buying and selling R/C stuff on eBay about 2 years
ago. I'v been away from R/C getting my glider rating. I'm getting back
to RC again. I just looked on eBay and there a FRACTION of the stuff

Another Video04 Oct 2006 07:14 GMT2
Not aerial this time but flying the same plane the way it was meant to be
flown.  I'll probably get verbal abuse for this one too - oh, look there are
other people in the park...

My first attempt at arial vid...03 Oct 2006 15:57 GMT2
...and it ends with a crash :(  The plane (Hacker Zoom Zoom 4d) normally has
a flying weight of 12 oz.  With the camera, transmitter & nicad to power the
rig, it was 20 oz making it drop like a brick off the throttle.  Also my
CofG was a tad too far forwward.  I can normally land ...

Designing a Biplane03 Oct 2006 13:26 GMT5
I am building a biplane from a plan and have reached the point of
attaching the wings.  This is a heavily "kit bashed" airplane.  The
original plan had the wings set at about 70% chord apart. My changes to
the wing were to use a different, slightly thicker airfoil and to change
Modified "Aerostar" Flight Troubles03 Oct 2006 05:33 GMT9
My son & I rebuilt a crashed Aerostar 20 trainer. An Uncle gave it to
my son after he destroyed it. We have been flying SuperStar/NexStar
trainers (my son much better than I). At the time we decided to upgrade
the .20 to a .40, build a fully symmetrical flat wing & convert it ...
Spirit of St. Louis kit/plan?03 Oct 2006 04:41 GMT4
Been searching on Google for a while and have not come up with much in the
way of finding scale drawings or maybe at best find a kit that is around a
60 thru 1.2 (engine) size. I have a set of plans for a 1/4 scale, but think
this may be a touch out of my skill/price range and ...
Ripoff Britain includes model aircaft world?02 Oct 2006 20:28 GMT49
As some of you will know I recently decided on an OS 52 Surpass fourstroke
engine for my new kit project.  Ripmax has been advertising these on the
back of RCM&E magazine at a SSP of £199.99 so I thought I could do a little
better.  I looked around at some of the usual UK ...
