the same on a LiPo?
Brushless motors Pt229 Jan 2007 17:27 GMT6
one for the techies on brushless motrors,  just
stripped down two largish video player motors to use the cans for
building brushless motors and found they both had lovely big 30-plate
six segment armatures in them so stripped these down and knocked the
OS Max-S 35 Engine info29 Jan 2007 16:33 GMT19
OK, this is what it is. It's an OS Max-S 35 engine, made for r/c. The
"throttle" is simply a baffle the goes over the exhaust, and obstructs the
exhaust port to slow the engine down. It's very clean, and I have the
original box and instructions, which are a bit yellowed with age. ...
Lipo suggestions29 Jan 2007 15:35 GMT18
As I gradually acquire more electric planes I find I need some
bigger and better lipos.  I had a bunch of Electrifly batteries and I'm
pretty unhappy with them.  I've had a few that woudn't charge, and a
couple that just died.  I even had one that had a cell swell up while
What fuel for .04929 Jan 2007 02:22 GMT6
I seem to recall that Cox Glow Power was 10-15% nitro, and their racing fuel
was 30%? Anyone remember? I was at a hobby store today, and all they had was
20% fuel, labeled "for cars". Can I run that in an teedee 049? I don't need
max power, but I do need it to run good and ...

I currently own a simple 3 cell LiPo charger a simple Ripmax Xing NiCd
charger and a Ripmax Mercury Ex and I am now getting to the stage of
wanting another LiPo/NiCd NiMh charger, I love the Mercury Ex but are
better alternatives available, I don't tend to use the cheap chargers ...

How well does a B-26 Invader fly?28 Jan 2007 18:02 GMT14
In the last year I read a magazine review about a B-25 kit currently on
the market.  As I recall the reviewer built the kit and generally liked
the kit,  the components and the instructions.  Then he installed two
4-strokes and flew the plane.  His comments were that it took off
Lipo batteries and charging/balancing28 Jan 2007 16:44 GMT1
I am new to the world of RC and have some questions regarding LIPO

My dad has bought me a LIPO battery from the States (Electrifly Power
series 910Mah 11.1v 20c) It has to leads on it, one has a tag that

Magnum 4 stroke question27 Jan 2007 20:21 GMT16
I'm the proud owner of a Magnum XL-91RFS 4 Stroke engine.  This is my first
4 stroke, so I have thoroughly read and re-read Magnum's instruction manual.
Good and comprehensive break-in instructions that I will follow.  But there
is no mention of maintenance instructions ...
