Black wire corrosion can this happen to any type of battery? I thought it was just Nicads but I just had it happen to a NiMh pack can you get the same on a LiPo?

OK, this is what it is. It's an OS Max-S 35 engine, made for r/c. The "throttle" is simply a baffle the goes over the exhaust, and obstructs the exhaust port to slow the engine down. It's very clean, and I have the original box and instructions, which are a bit yellowed with age. ...

As I gradually acquire more electric planes I find I need some bigger and better lipos. I had a bunch of Electrifly batteries and I'm pretty unhappy with them. I've had a few that woudn't charge, and a couple that just died. I even had one that had a cell swell up while

I seem to recall that Cox Glow Power was 10-15% nitro, and their racing fuel was 30%? Anyone remember? I was at a hobby store today, and all they had was 20% fuel, labeled "for cars". Can I run that in an teedee 049? I don't need max power, but I do need it to run good and ...

I currently own a simple 3 cell LiPo charger a simple Ripmax Xing NiCd charger and a Ripmax Mercury Ex and I am now getting to the stage of wanting another LiPo/NiCd NiMh charger, I love the Mercury Ex but are better alternatives available, I don't tend to use the cheap chargers ...

How long would a 1500mAH battery last in the avarage two channel setup i.e receiver and two servo's? not having done any flying for many years I think I had better start from scratch and work up so intend just flying unpowered gliders for a start and learn to control them then bung
