| How to clean siezed engine | 21 Jan 2007 19:35 GMT | 7 |
I just realized that my teedee 051 was ran about 10 years ago and put away, uncleaned. Today it's seized. There is no sign of rust or damage. I'm guessing some carb cleaner to start with, maybe some penetrating oil, and see if it frees up? Any practical advice before I tear into ...

| Electric Ducted Fan problem/question(s) | 21 Jan 2007 07:04 GMT | 14 |
Me again. Sorry for being so dense... I've got a tiny problem. Friend wants a nice big foamie jet, but she prefers EDF instead of my usual pusher prop setup. Now, the default layout has air ducts in there anyway, but they're only

| Engine recommendation continued | 21 Jan 2007 00:34 GMT | 13 |
A slightly different question today. Who makes engines today, who sells engines *today*? 1/2a, bigger? Who are the manufacturers still in this business?

| What's a doubler? | 17 Jan 2007 04:54 GMT | 17 |
Ok, I've been reading up on building in preparation for building my first kit after 47 years. I don't believe I know exactly what a doubler is although from long-ago experience I seem to remember that it is two pieces of two pieces of timber, spar, 2x4, etc. glued together to ...
