Just after Christmas I sent in my old JR X388S radio to Horizon Hobby
so that its internal battery is replaced. I was expecting a call from
Horizon on how much the repair cost would be but, instead, this
afternoon FedEx delivered a package that contained my old radio fully

Does anyone have an old totalled Great Planes ARF park flyer Corsair,
Hellcat, or Spirit of St. Louis lying around, taking up space? I need a
propeller shaft/pinion gear assembly (from the gear drive) for my

This engine problem is a new one on me.
Magnum 61 2 stroke.
Runs fine on the ground.  Runs fine being held nose-up.  Transitions
well from idle to full throttle.  It stumbles and sometimes dies coming

Senility meets anility (got my old head up my a##) and forgot the math
to figure scale percentages for enlarging/reducing plans.  Hellllp!!!  I
used to do it without thinking; now I can't think how to do it!

How to make a unit flying on a roof and drop a liquid gel over it ?
-it must be cheap
-it must be able to carry a micro caméra + about 50 gr of liquid gel.

Is it normal or harmful for a servo to buzz while idle? I know they do
it when running but I have two new AS16 that also do it when at idle
unless I waggle the stick a little then it stops, will it do any harm to
the servo in the long term?,

Trying to decide what replacement batteries to buy Nimh , Li-Po or stay
with trusty NiCads, heard that Li=Po are much better for their size and
weight but also they need special charging and are likely to burn if
overcharged so what are the benefits and the risks of Li-Po?.

I'm new to electric models and am looking for a good battery
charger - I only want to buy one.  My present model uses a
NiCad battery but my next one will have LiPo's.  I would
prefer a charger that would handle both types.

Done with nitro. Everything I'm flying now has micro servos or giant
