| hydraulics | 15 Feb 2007 02:32 GMT | 17 |
Already sent this once but didnt show up, has anyone tried using hydraulics for operating retracts instead of compressed air bottles? it would be quite easy to do using clinical syringes and a small motor drive with micro limit switch's.

| Realistic Flight Simulator Wanted | 13 Feb 2007 15:46 GMT | 11 |
I would like to buy a flight simulator that is realistic and gives you a sense of actual flying an RC plane. I have only seen one or two and the scenery appears cartoonish and you can never seem to find your way back to the field. Does anyone out there have any favorites?

I need to extend the leads on a brushless speed controller to suit a pusher model. Do I extend the 3 leads to the motor or the 2 leads that go to the battery? Or both?

Took my brand new 7C transmitter to the field today for its "maiden flight". Did the normal prefilght checks: range, ailerons, elevator, rudder, and throttle all doing what they should. The first 3 flights went without incident. Then I remembered this thing had a timer -- why

| ASP or SC? | 12 Feb 2007 08:30 GMT | 5 |
Having used both since comming back to model flying does any one have any valid knowledge of the differences of these engines. I allways found the ASP better but do not think there is any real justification for this. But the specs usually seem to quote the ASP with a better power ...

| Help on Sig LT-25 | 12 Feb 2007 03:34 GMT | 7 |
I'm looking for the recommended control surface throws for the Sig Kadet LT-25. I had to rebuild mine after a neighbor, who claimed to be this hot-shot, ace rc pilot, stuck it into the ground. It's rebuilt but the manual has gone missing. Sig's web site doesn't seem to list ...

| balsa and tissue | 12 Feb 2007 01:07 GMT | 18 |
I was looking at some model airplanes online that were made out of balsa wood and covered with tissue. They weren't for flying, just for display. They sort of caught my eye, but I was a little put off by the tissue covering. I seem to recall getting one of these models by

I used to fly rc planes some years ago, had to stop a while during university, and now I want to reactivate my planes again. But first I have question. Some years ago I thought my NiCD Cells with 1800mAh are great. But now I wonder what kind of accumulators I should buy to put in

When I used to play around with CB radio we matched the physical antenna length to the frequency we were working i.e 27mhz was 11.1 metres so a 1/4 antenna was about nine feet, would it improve the reception and in turn the range oof a transmitter if tranny and receiver had 1/4 wave
