Please read the date below when I first posted this idea in 2006. And if you searched my profile, you'd find the other people's responses. Also if you have the Feb. 2007 issue of Model Aviation, you will find on page 14 the system offered by John Durant on a no linkage servo.

I got an old simulator from a mate (he bought himself a newer one) but unfortunately it doesn't work with my gamepad, it actually requires a real transmitter to work. Since I'm still not 100% sure I'll make this a long term hobby of mine I'd
