There are Gremlins about31 Mar 2007 23:55 GMT8
You know, the "someone"s who sneak into your plane and remove the servo arm
screw, and the "someone"s  who get your transmitter and put it back on the
same model you flew last after you KNOW you had changed it to the model that
just crashed? At our field there's even one that'll ...
Super Sportster rename the FROG31 Mar 2007 06:36 GMT13
My Super Sportster has been dubbed  "The Frog" as the weight of the seven
cell battery pack seems to permit the plane to hop rather than take off.
I have three batteries; so, I might just get the next larger motor and see
if that will let it take off.
Mods to the Uproar31 Mar 2007 03:01 GMT7
I rudely interrupted the other thread, so this one has been started for
comments on bashing the (.60) Uproar kit (or the .40).
I definitely want to add a canopy to the plane, and the trike gear is
something I will consider, although I would like to learn a little about

me make comparisons of
electric motor sizes and wattage against  020. 025. 046 engines.
This is not top secret stuff; so there must be someplace that helps one

I thought I'd post some information here about our General Aviation
film "One Six Right." If you love planes or aviation of any kind, I
think you'd enjoy our film. {Disregard if not interested.}
Here's a link to our DVD extra that we've posted on YouTube.
Royal Coachman plans29 Mar 2007 21:34 GMT2
A few years ago RC Modeler published an article about one of their
founding editors, Don Dewey.  I think he had died just recently.  To
commemorate his contributions to RC and to RC Modeler magazine, they
offered the plans to one of his early designs, the Royal Coachman

Goldberg Utimate Bipe Kit--changes?28 Mar 2007 23:13 GMT16
I've been out of the hobby for about 10 years. I bought one of these
kits about as long ago. I got as far as the tail feathers, then at one
point the box fell into a basement junk heap, scattering parts. I'm
not sure what is missing.
video of model rotary engine28 Mar 2007 16:13 GMT7
A while back somebody posted a link to a video of a working model rotary
engine.  That was when I had my old computer.  Anybody have that link handy?
Citabria vs. Super Decathalon28 Mar 2007 15:19 GMT17
What are the differences between the two?  I have a bunch of photos of
each and I'm starting to believe that perhaps the airfoil is different (i.e.
the Citabria wing appears flat bottom and the SD looks to be
semi-symmetrical)  Is that right?  I was considering covering my ...
Bearings26 Mar 2007 02:51 GMT7
Anyone heard of seen of Paul Macintosh?  He used to sell bearings and I need
some for a pair of Saito 80's.  Thought if his price was competitive with
Horizon Hobby's I would send business his way.
Thanks

A friend has bought a used Precedent Fly Bi 25 and we need the CG to
make sure this plane has more than just one flight.
I've trolled the net but Precedent (UK) stopped production  a few
years ago and it's impossible to find any reference to their products
