Zagi 400x parts for cheap? Receiver location change?17 Apr 2007 19:38 GMT12
If this is a dumb question, my apologies.. but I'm seeking parts for a
Zagi 400x, anyone have any good resources for the misc. parts.. or
ways of doing them at home.  I've seen a couple of sites out there
with parts, but they (canopies) looked a bit pricey.
Test Stand?17 Apr 2007 05:18 GMT8
Are you looking for a test stand? Take a look at my website, best viewed
in broadband. Pick 'Helpful Hints' > 'Blog' > 'Run-In your new engine'.
This has worked for me for many years.

What is a 4-2-4 break?16 Apr 2007 21:35 GMT3
My ignorance is showing. But what is a 4-2-4 break? 99% of my flying has
been done with .049 engines, and with those I would just adjust them to the
max and let it scream.
Perma-Grits - Mollycoddle or abuse ?16 Apr 2007 08:15 GMT4
The question is as per title :  I've just bought my first ever Perma-
Grit sanding block (Type 140 coarse + smooth) and I just wondered if
anyone here has any tips on their use ?  I read once that new files
should be saved to be used only on aluminium and brass until they are
Toledo -- Red S. sighting15 Apr 2007 23:47 GMT2
I managed to find Red at the FMA booth yesterday
and had a good time talking with him about his
favorite LiPo charger/balancer.
It was a great weekend getaway.  I haven't been
Test stand for 35 sized engines?15 Apr 2007 22:00 GMT7
I've been running my OS Max 35 engines on a test stand that consists of a
2x4 nailed to a heavy wood work bench. They tend to vibrate quite a bit and
everything not bolted down to the bench shifts. Any suggestions as to what
to use for a good test stand for these engines? This ...
Car fuel in Airplane Engine...15 Apr 2007 00:22 GMT19
I am looking for some advice if anyone can offer it. I have been out of
model flying for a year or two, and am getting back into it. I have just
assembled an ARTF plane and am planning on using an "Evolution" engine that
I have only ever run about 8/10 times. The last time it ...

Moonraker C.G.14 Apr 2007 17:01 GMT6
I apologize if I've already asked this question of the group, but if I did,
I still don't have an answer.
I bought a pre-built Moonraker by USA Balsa several months ago, and I'd like
to find the plan-specified C.G. for the airplane. Does anyone have a set of
T-Rex Problem; Help appreciated!!14 Apr 2007 08:53 GMT3
As a change from many, many, years flying fixed wing, I have treated
myself to a T-Rex 450S helicopter to play with in my garden here in
England - assuming I can learn to fly the thing.
I am impressed with the quality of the kit and whilst the T-Rex is
Battery charging systems14 Apr 2007 05:23 GMT11
Came up with an idea to save all the bother or removing batteries for
field charging,  a two pole 3 position switch and a 3.5mm jack socket
tucked away under a flap or canopy.
Switch in down position connects electronics to battery, centre is off
Hot Canary13 Apr 2007 18:46 GMT7
I know a fellow who picked up a TF Hot canary at the Weatherford Swap Meet
last weekend.  It is partially built, has the manual but has plans for
Corsair!  I think he can finish it without the plans but If anyone has, or
knows where to get these plans it would help.  As a matter ...
