| Wated: Scientific c/l plans | 12 Apr 2007 04:25 GMT | 2 |
Am looking for old Scientific plans, particularly for the Zipper and Big Otto. I've built many of these, and I can approximate them from memory, but I'd like to get my hands on an authentic set of plans. And sorry for the OT, but this seems to be the best place to talk about c/l

When I first started flying in the 70's, the Andrews H-Ray was my club's trainer of choice. I just picked up one on eBay, and I'm thinking of redesigning it for electric(mainly lightening it, and making it a taildragger, ailerons

| Warped Elevator on Eagle 2 | 10 Apr 2007 18:02 GMT | 12 |
I just finished building a Carl Goldberg Eagle 2 (kit, not ARF) and discovered that the elevator is warped -- one side of it sticks up while the other is down. Unfortunately, I have glued the hinges. I'm new at flying, so I don't know if this will cause a big problem. I'm

| OS Max 35 w/loose con rod - any good? | 08 Apr 2007 22:02 GMT | 15 |
I have an old OS Max 35 with a noticeably loose connection rod. Is it worth scrounging parts to fix this? Or is it time for the scrap heap? I picked it up for next nothing. It's missing the prop drive washer and back plage, the glowplug has no gasket and is burned out. I'm ...

Years ago, I built a Balckwell T-100 kit.. out of the blue, recently, I acquired a new, in the box, Blackwell kit of the Hurricane 600 vintage 1961 as printed on the plans. Was designed as a low wing 600 sq in plane with ailerons and the box says it will work on rudder

| Twinstar II Lipo Battery confusion/decisions (3s 2500-3200 ideal) thoughts? | 06 Apr 2007 16:27 GMT | 1 |
I was going to purchase the CellPro 4s charger, which does have adapters for various non CellPro battery packs.. Like PolyQuest/ thunderpro. They dont list DN as a type of battery they support (though the universal adapter may work as well).
