Running an outrunner motor without ESC?31 May 2007 03:56 GMT6
Please don't why just yet, but what would happen if I ran an outrunner
motor directly without the benefits of an ESC? That is, just connect
the motor to the battery and ran it full blast.

When I was ready to move away, I did not want to to move my larger
electric airplanes. I gave three of them to a friend.
All three flew well with Futaba transmitters and receivers. He decided
to utilize the JR Tx he already have, changed the receiver to a JR.

The Evo 1. calls for a 14X6 prop but I want more ground clearance in front
so what 3 blade or 4 blade prop should be on it?  I made the plane in a
trike gear because one club likes taxiing events at their fun flies.  Drop
