Please don't why just yet, but what would happen if I ran an outrunner
motor directly without the benefits of an ESC? That is, just connect
the motor to the battery and ran it full blast.

First problem!

A good afternoons flying off the slope.
Two planes used -  both from Veron plans. O.K, I had a fair bit of wood so

I was debating whether to use my Y splitter or just go into the
computer Futaba TX and set flaperon settings via using both channels
instead .. which I would think would also let me do the "flaps" or
flaperon full setting option.. where both ailerons can go into an up

Is $250 for a used Futaba 9CAP transmitter a reasonable price? It does
not come with any servos or receivers. Just wondering,

The Evo 1. calls for a 14X6 prop but I want more ground clearance in front
so what 3 blade or 4 blade prop should be on it?  I made the plane in a
trike gear because one club likes taxiing events at their fun flies.  Drop
an inch in Dia. per added blade? ACP and MA are the only ...
