| short field landings | 11 Jul 2007 01:30 GMT | 14 |
I have a .61 sized Cub that needs little help getting on the ground. I guess I spoiled myself with my Twist where I could come in to land at about a 45 degree angle, not gain any speed, and flare out at the end and set it down. The Cub, with it's big flat bottomed

| Adding tempory flaps to Parkzone Spit | 09 Jul 2007 11:07 GMT | 8 |
I bought a ParkZone Spitfire because I like Warbirds, not really because I wanted to get into RC flying. I realize that I would be better off learning on a trainer, but I will keep at it, even if I have to buy 14 replacement airframes, I don't care, I am quite handy and like fixin' ...

| Another newbie question | 07 Jul 2007 12:03 GMT | 9 |
I've never seen it discussed, so there must be a reason why you shouldn't, but I'll show my ignorance and ask.... Is there any way you can use a car type battery charger (2/6/8 amp selectable) to power a hot wire for cutting foam? TIA.

| Adding a balance port to a LiPoly pack | 06 Jul 2007 12:30 GMT | 3 |
I recently purchased a Parkzone Typhoon 2 3D plane kit. The package came with a LiPoly charger for the included battery, but it charges through the balance port. There are 2 ports on the charger, a 4-pin for a 2-cell pack and a 6-pin for a 3-cell pack.

I googled every conceivable way to find one in Canada, but came up with nothing. Even if it's not an authorized Hobbyzone retailer, anyone know of a Canadian based online retailer which sells Hobbyzone products? TIA.

| Help with control | 05 Jul 2007 17:22 GMT | 14 |
I have been practicing with a computer RC flight simulator, but still can't seem to get the hang of rolling the correct direction when the plane is coming at me. I just cant think backwards. What is your method? I was thinking of trying the "look over the shoulder" method.

I have an Ultra Stick Lite with a Saito 180. I'm looking for the support you can install from the horizontal tail surface to the vertical tail surface. Particularly, I'm looking for the solid wire type, not cable. Where do you get this from?

I 'm trying to get hold of a copy of Radio Control Model World dated May 2006. There is an article in that issue explaining how to cover a moderl aircraft with epoxy resin and glass cloth. I am quite prepared to pay any costs that might be incurred. A copy of the article would ...
