Can a bad O2 sensor cause my Tahoe to run rough?
found a way to print my large plans30 Oct 2007 03:06 GMT1
I was talking to my neighbor, the one with a grass strip in his back
yard.  I mentioned large plans, and he simply told me to email him the
files.  He printed them on the plotter at his company, and he says
they're ready for me to pick them up at his house.
Flying the AMA Twin Sport Utility29 Oct 2007 20:40 GMT9
I have flown this bird about 8 times now and each flight is a little
different. There is a brief article in this month's MAN that detials a
simple way to synch the engines so that is how I am doing it now. Due
to the newness of the engines though, it requires a re-synch each time

Plans - Bud Nosen Trainer?29 Oct 2007 00:47 GMT2
I've been out of the R/C world for quite a few years,& I'm finally picking
it back up again.  I have an old Bud Nosen trainer that the years of storage
haven't been too kind to, the wing is pretty much a write-off.  Does anybody
have a set of plans laying around that they'd be ...

Printing large plans inexpensively28 Oct 2007 18:37 GMT1
I use an old wide carriage dot matrix printers. Using Windows 98 they will
print 13 1/2 x 44 inches. I don't seem to be able to do the same with Win
XP.
Using AutoCad, I can print sections of the drawing and tape them together

Art Tech warbirds models27 Oct 2007 23:53 GMT1
I intend to buy a F4U Corsair warbird, built by a chinese firma called
"Art-Tech".
Do you eventually know this brand, and do you have an idea of the
quality I can hope?
Sterling Models from the 50s27 Oct 2007 21:45 GMT2
Does anyone know if 'Sterling Models' are still in business? If so, do
they have a website? Did anyone take-over their business?
I'm looking for information about TWO of their popular model boat kits
from the 50s and 60s. Their 'Christ-Craft 50-Ft Catalina Cruiser' and
Eneloop Batteries in TX?27 Oct 2007 18:26 GMT1
I seem to recall a thread about these batteries a while back, and I
*think* the advice was to not use them in flight packs. What about using
them in transmitters? I'd like to be able to recharge my 12 AA batteries
as infrequently as possible.

Ground loop26 Oct 2007 22:54 GMT12
As I was preparing to try my new J-3 Cub Park Flier, I was cautioned to
be prepared for a ground loop.
I've been flying model planes since I was 10 years old and I've never
heard of a 'ground loop'.
