Best way to remove cylinder head15 Oct 2007 19:35 GMT21
What is the best way to loosen up the head bolts on a cylinder head on
an O.S. 40 engine?  I tried a gentle turning with an allen wrench and
the bolts are on pretty solid.  What would be the way to loosen the
bolts?  Thanks

Where can i find good building plans for plans around .40-.65  60" to84

Sandy Frank's condition.15 Oct 2007 02:55 GMT3
Sandy Frank was in a serious auto accident on Oct. 1.  I just received the
following from Doug Powell:
This is Doug "Chief" Powell. I have been getting a lot of inquiries
as to the Condition of Dr. Sandy Frank. He and I are long time friends. I am
Grid Leaks14 Oct 2007 20:43 GMT18
Can anybody help.
Some time early in 2006, I came across an on-line source of the old
"Grid Leaks" magazine and downloaded several of them.  I'd like to get
the whole set, but now cannot find that website. (!)
Futaba 9C programming question13 Oct 2007 16:19 GMT11
I posted this question on RC Universe, but have got no response.
I want to reverse a servo with a switch. In other words, when the switch is
up, the servo is normal and when the switch is down, the servo is reversed.
Sounds simple, but I can't figure it out. Has anyone done this? ...
new place to fly in Springfield, MO13 Oct 2007 15:27 GMT7
Now that I've lived in my new home in the country for a month I figured
it was time to find a place to fly airplanes.  Not being much of a club
joiner, I decided to try out the freshly baled hayfield about 50 yards
down the road.  Although the grass is nice and short, ...
LoPo winter storage12 Oct 2007 18:38 GMT7
So far, I'm not sold on EP rc planes or helis. They're too expensive and
delicate!
I'm almost sure this question has been asked before, but I can't
remember the answer.
bluecor- socal southbay source?12 Oct 2007 15:28 GMT2
Anyone out there know of a solid source for the bluecor  material used in
the making of foam/fliers? I live in Long Beach and wouldn't mind a drive of
30-40 miles in the acquisition of the stuff . I tried the lowes (huntington
beach-warner ave) that was mentioned in some of the ...

Is the process just the same?
Are autoclaves really necessary?
FA: NIB SK.90 with muffler09 Oct 2007 01:40 GMT3
Again, I've got too much stuff and somethings just have to go.
Never mounted, never propped and certainly never ran. All of the engines
on rec.models.rc.air that I have listed are being sold "as-is". There is
nothing wrong with them as they are within a year or so of being shipped ...
FA: NIB SK.50, going fast...09 Oct 2007 01:35 GMT3

Why This Group is Moribund05 Oct 2007 10:01 GMT75
No sharing of actual experiences flying, little talk of whole planes
and how they perform. Mainly it's just discussion of repairs and
modifications, punctuated by arguments about things like glue toxicity.
Is this what you folks want...? I'm a rank newbie, and I get the feeling

I would like to change my receiver crystal from channel 25 to channel 12.
It's a Hitech receiver with a Futuba transmitter.  Anyone see a problem with
