I just found a little shop close to my home which sells rolls (and end cuts)
of larger rolls of cast vinyl film which is self adhesive (not heat
activated) on one side. It looks like interesting stuff for trim, numbers,
letters, etc. that might give an ARF a little different look, ...
Need A Hobby?29 Jan 2008 16:57 GMT2
A man needs a hobby.
I guess I'm not well-rounded. I seldom take a vacation (never, come to

trying to get physically fit as well. How much should you push

My 7 year old grandson and I received a model airplane for Christmas.  It is
a model for beginners, since I have never flown a RC plane before.  Called a
'Super Cub'.
We (I) tried it once and immediately destroyed the prop, firewall, and cowl.
Out-of-true tailplane.27 Jan 2008 22:50 GMT7
I've just put together a cheapo foamy P51D (36" span) but after glueing the
tailplane with epoxy (pushed thru slot in fuse) I went for lunch and the
model fell off my workbench with the result that the tailplane got moved and
the epoxy has set with the tailplane being about 2 ...
4 stroke cuts at end of outside loop27 Jan 2008 16:32 GMT32
I have a 120 4 stroke mounted inverted in a Cyclone 3D
Keeps cutting out at the end (top) of an outside loop (bunt) but otherwise

Doesn't cut with any other aerobatic manoeuvres
O.S. FT-120 flat twin engine27 Jan 2008 09:29 GMT2
To my understanding, OS made 2 versions of this engine. The Gemini and the
Gemini II, both now out of production. Can anyone explain the differences
between these two.
TIA

I ordered a Chipmunk ARF on Tuesday and had it by Friday. They sock
