| What is happening about recall of Futaba 2.4 transmitters? | 17 Jun 2008 14:08 GMT | 1 |
What is happening about recall of Futaba 2.4 transmitters? I had mine tested OK at the local shop. They didn't know how to do it - but handed me the instructions and uncoded RX!

| More kudos to Towerhobbies | 16 Jun 2008 23:50 GMT | 1 |
Bought 4 Hitec HS-65HB servos from Towerhobbies. Installed them on a new Lancair ARF that is almost completed, but one servo was dead on arrival. A toll-free telephone call to Towerhobbies and a brief explanation produced a, "We'll send a replacement out right away at

| EPS Styrofoam source in so Cal? | 16 Jun 2008 14:46 GMT | 3 |
I would like to cut a foam wing, but can't seem to find a source for a block of foam in southern Calif. Phone books and google don't seem to help. The craft stores have the crunchy open cell stuff that is useless. The home improvement store have big sheet of the extruded stuff ...

| new gas prices just posted | 14 Jun 2008 20:16 GMT | 27 |
As I drove down a local street I noticed that Reg gas was $1.83/gallon. A half hour later on the return trip it was $1.97. Kalamazoo Michigan.. just hope model fuel doesn`t spike like that.

I moved my balsa airplane building articles to their own website. www.balsaworkbench.com Sorry for the shameless self promotion, but I'm also setting up a store to unload the mountain of screws and other hardware I have left over

Good Evening. I recently brought a new home computer into service, and am trying to load my existing software on it. The new computer has Windows Vista, whereas the old one used Windows 98. When I tried to load my RealFlight G2 software on it, the new computer kept displaying

| re: Sig Senorita. AGAIN! | 14 Jun 2008 00:36 GMT | 4 |
I hate to be a pest, but I'm building a senorita, and from it, I'm learning that I'm not as smart as I thought I was...or as I once was! The plans are designed for gas engines; I'm planning on flying with an electric motor.

| Need a Japanese pilot figure | 12 Jun 2008 11:03 GMT | 1 |
I'm currently assembling, albeit with painting and modifications, what is basically a CMPro 120 sized Zero. I've been looking for a suitable pilot bust to fit in the cockpit. Locally, there seems to be very little on offer. It's either pathetic looking or the wrong size.

| Curiosity: How Light is your Cub? | 10 Jun 2008 18:01 GMT | 8 |
I'm contemplating building a model of the Aeronca LA, LB or LC. This critter has a 9:1 aspect ratio and a 70HP engine, so it's more or less a Cub pretending to be a low-wing sport plane. I'd be putting an OS MAX .25 in it, or an equivalent electric motor.

| Senorita..need help~ | 06 Jun 2008 23:10 GMT | 6 |
In the plans for the wing, they show two spars spaced quite equidistantly between the leading and trailing edges. In the constuction booklet, they show the area between the leading edge and the spar covered with balsa.and also between the trailing

| Batteries and charger dilemma | 05 Jun 2008 18:09 GMT | 8 |
I'm brand new to this RC flying thing. Just purchased a used Easystar and discovered the 6 cell 7.2v NiCad batteries, even after cycling several times, will only give me about 3.5 minutes at full throttle. Now I suppose new battery packs are in order but I'm uncertain in
