The Worst Time to Finish a Plane31 Mar 2009 06:18 GMT1
Is on a Sunday evening.  All I need are a few bits of foam for padding,
and my newly built, 23 year old Goldberg Eaglet will be ready for the air.

week, so I can't even play hooky to go fly with the retired ...

From its truss construction, the farcical nature of its top-mounted cannon,
there's no mistaking a Blue Max for some other run-of-the-mill sport
aircraft.

I got  2 1,800-mAh 3-cell LiPos the other day, one with a Parkzone
foamie I bought to replace one I totaled and the other off the shelf

parts so I decided to discharge both to 11 volts because they'd

I have just undertaken a strenuous expedition to investigate the
previously unexplored far reaches of my workshop and, after fighting
my way through vast heaps of assorted junk (I haven't a clue what
possessed me to keep half the stuff), I unearthed what I first thought

Remove CA from Monocoat?30 Mar 2009 05:54 GMT3
Just had a Management Moment*.  Tried to install pinned hinges with CA,
even though I _know_ it's stupid.
I've got the hinges out, the new ones are in, the epoxy is cured and the
grease (that I forgot to put on the ones I CA'd in) has successfully kept
Receivers30 Mar 2009 05:51 GMT6
If you were going to buy a second receiver to work with a JR transmitter
(72MHz), what would you buy?
JR?  Berg?  Something else?
This would be something that would go into anything from a 16-oz park-
Hitech Neon Upgrade - Worth $12?28 Mar 2009 14:39 GMT5
Have a Neon that I use for flying wings. On Acer's Mini Speed Wing

and change.
Not ready for the GHz change-over yet.  That being the case, is this
Thinning CA Glue26 Mar 2009 19:12 GMT8
Being thrifty (aka cheap) I bought a 4 oz bottle of medium CA.  Well, it is
now 9 months and 3+ models later and I have 1 oz of that CA left.
Unfortunately, it has thickened so as to be unusable.  Can I use something
to thin this glue (If so, what) or should I chalk it up to ...
