Differential throttle on a twin electric29 Jul 2009 22:47 GMT10
I want to set up throttle/rudder differential coupling on an electric
seaplane, and found the instructions for my intended radio (Futaba 8UA-
F) in Don Edberg's book, but the instructions are for an I-C version.
I'm unsure as to which ESC wire (s) I need to disconnect (cheapo
Bitch bitch bitch29 Jul 2009 01:27 GMT10
So, here I am, working hard on some difficult algorithm development for a
customer, and when my poor overworked brain is absolutely flattened from
thinking, I go work on models.
Except the model is this @#$% Top-Fright Nobler!  Which is of a type that
Castor Mix24 Jul 2009 03:38 GMT8
Can someone tell me the proper amount (if there is a proper amount) or
recommended mix of castor oil to add to one gallon of Cool Power fuel. It is
15% nitro and 18%  synthetic lubricant. Will the addition make the fuel too
oily? Smoke heavy?

Royal Quality Kits21 Jul 2009 12:30 GMT4
I purchased a Supermarine Spitfire Junior Series (.40-.45 engine) about
fifteen years ago.  I was young, did not research anything about R/C, and
the hobby store employee must have just been looking for a quick sale (as
this plane is definitely not a beginner model!)  I, of course, ...
Biso Bender21 Jul 2009 00:30 GMT5
I _assume_ that "the" thing to get to bend music wire is a Biso Bender
from Harry Higley & Sons -- true, or is there some other hot ticket out
there?
Will a Biso Bender make coil springs ala front LG struts on trike gear

The empty weight of my converted 5 x 10 utility trailer is around 1300 lb.
and I want a slightly larger trailer since I can only carry about 5 giant
scale birds.  I will post pictures of it when I am ready to sell it but
before that I need to build a new one out of aluminum.  I ...
Engines for sale or trade...17 Jul 2009 15:30 GMT2
I have an OS FT-300 flat twin (used) that could easily pass for a new engine
that I wish to sell or trade. The normal used price for this engine in this
condition is $700. I'm willing to sell for $600 via money orders, or $630
via PayPal. I'll try to get some pictures made of the ...
Anyone flying the RTF Pitts electric biplane?16 Jul 2009 22:02 GMT14
I have one NIB. It is such a good looking rascal that I have hesitated to
fly it. However, I have reached a point where it is either fly it, or sell
it.
Anyone have experience with one of these models?
Spinner15 Jul 2009 08:22 GMT15
Is a spinner really required for electric park flyers?  I keep losing
mine.. Just wondering what will happen if I try to fly without one.
Thanks,
Dan
OS FS200S Unpumped..Any good?15 Jul 2009 08:08 GMT2
Does anyone have any reports on this engine? It's the unpumped one and
with the big discount Tower is offering it appears good value for me
in Australia even with the postage. What I'm worried about is whether
the unpumped version is trouble free.
On a positive note...12 Jul 2009 08:00 GMT1
Someone was complaining about the group going to the dogs, so even if it
isn't much I thought I'd mention the fact that it was a very nice day for
flying here at the intersection of Oregon City and Estacada, with almost
no wind at our usually turbulent flying field, and high ...
