Cheap radios23 Oct 2009 17:42 GMT1
Does anyone know anything about these cheap 2.4 Ghz radios?  If they are any
good at all, $30.00 for a 4 channel TX and RX makes them reasonable for
models to give my nephew and grandson.

1/8 Inch Tubing Caps13 Oct 2009 17:36 GMT8
So, the Nobler is getting its fuel system installed.  I'm going whole hog
and putting in a uniflow system (double clunk, no less).  This means that
the fill vent tube needs to be capped after filling and before flight, so
the uniflow vent will do its job properly.

Looking for a Battery12 Oct 2009 00:10 GMT5
I got lucky the other day when this fellow came to our field with a
half built electric glider. He said he started it ten years ago and
just lost interest and he gave it to me. Its a GP Spectra but it
requires a rather unusual battery. It uses a seven cell 8.4 volt 3600

around in the garage waiting for the kids to get older and a nice clam day.
The thing flew well enough, but the motor now has an intermittent fault.
