| Small Models | 28 Dec 2009 11:39 GMT | 11 |
As a result of a Parenting Saga* I now have a nifty Dumas kit for a Tiger Moth, with a 17-1/2" wingspan. The kit is intended for rubber power, so everything is light. I haven't decided whether I want to build it as a rubber powered free flight and be

I wonder if anyone out there is building and flying the Great-Plane Patriot XL with an OS-91FX? Does this engine require a special type of engine mount since it generates lots of vibration. Thanks In Advance!

I'm planning on using an OS FS-56 engine on my next plane (VR Models Pitts) and one of the reasons for the choice is I wanted to use smoke on it. I've tried smoke on 2 strokes and it didn't work all that well and I've been told 4 strokes are the way to go for smoke. I can't

| Dave Patrick Ultimate ARF vs. Goldberg Ultimate 1.20 ARF | 16 Dec 2009 17:45 GMT | 9 |
In 2005, I bought a Dave Patrick Ultimate ARF. I installed a Saito 1.50 and the model quickly became a favorite. I ended up crashing it and I put the engine and servos aside, knowing I'd buy a replacement when I had the money. I finally got around to replacing it -- or so I ...

| 1/2A Glow Head Power | 13 Dec 2009 02:42 GMT | 6 |
I never seem to have trouble with complex stuff. It's always the embarrassingly simple things. I want to start 1/2A engines using a Ni-starter. I had an old Cox starter connected to an adapter cord made from a remote glow plug
