Raptor and training wheels08 Jul 2003 06:49 GMT1
1) Should the model be balanced with the trainings wheels on?
2) When I take them off I'd re-balance, but then the skid holders will come
in contact with the pavement and it will cause landing gear to be eaten
away. Can I put rubber o-rings on the skids to protect the skid holders?

Whip antennaes07 Jul 2003 00:33 GMT1

cracked just in front of the base today- thankfully my pre-flight checks
detected it and I grounded the heli before disaster had a chance to strike!
Can the whip wire be supported or reinforced to stop it ...

When it comes to recharging out the boot of a car, can anyone shed some
light on what type of equipment is required and a rough cost.

Wind Gusts04 Jul 2003 15:53 GMT3
While hovering my Shuttle, any increase in wind velocity causes a rapid
rise in altitude.
I know this is normal but can the affect of wind gusts be reduced or is
it something that only practice will help you overcome.  Would

Just wondering if there are any problems with these gyros?
I'm currently using a mechanical gyro and am looking to upgrade. My flying
skills are to the stage of general flying around but not quite to the stage
of 3D.
webra 91 AAR gearing02 Jul 2003 09:46 GMT3
Hi , Does anyone have experience with the above engine, I want to
drive 71cm mains at 1750. The local store suggest 7.6:1 but the engine
would only be doing 13200ish rpm which seems low to me or are they
right?
