Anyone knows what is happening with the 2nd issue of rotor world mag?? I
thought that it was supposed to be out early this month.  Surely they must

got through the publishing problems involved with the first issue, and have

Does anyone have this kit for Piccolo.  I'd like to know how well it
flies and what (if any) difficulties you may have had with it.  Paul
Is a Voyager 50 suitable for a beginner?17 Oct 2003 11:08 GMT3
I'm looking at starting up in the RC Heli world and would like to get
a helicopter that will grow with me, but is still suitable to learn
on. What are peoples opinions on the JR Voyager 50, which seems to get
pretty good write ups?
How much Throttle to pitch should I have?17 Oct 2003 10:46 GMT1
Dear r/c heli fans,
Wondered if you could lend me your ears.
I have a Nexus 30 all setup on my Field Force 6 tx, but one thing I'm
not sure of is how much throttle to pitch I should set.

When it's good to be negative...16 Oct 2003 23:32 GMT2
Had a bit of a moment today. I had just fitted the governor to my Raptor and
was well chuffed with the effect it had and so decided to move from the
shelter of Mum and Dad's "orchard" to the wide open field. I had decided
that the wind was just about OK, but overlooked two things...

Airwolf kit for Piccolo16 Oct 2003 20:38 GMT3
Has anyone built the Ikarus Airwolf kit for Piccolo.  If so, can you
help?  I am stuck on the tail rotor housing modifications and mounting
described in the instruction manual.  For the life of me, I can't
figure out what they are trying to explain and the microscopic

Are helis being badly sold?16 Oct 2003 00:07 GMT3
Just a thought - there seem to be far, far more helis going second hand
these days in the 'beginer, never flown' category.  I just wonder if model
shops are guilty of flogging shiney kit to newbies who, when they get the
thing built, realise flying a model is a tad more difficult ...
The great Futaba/JR debate15 Oct 2003 20:01 GMT8
My LHS is a heli-only place, which is useful, but they are also vary
"JR Rule the World", which seems to prevent them from providing me
with unbiased advice. I am new to helicopters and I've read a fair
amount on what to buy, etc, but I am a little unsure as to which
Open reply to Beav15 Oct 2003 00:27 GMT8
Beav, re re-phasing my Sceadu 50...worked a treat thanks.  Putting the top
swash balls half a ball clockwise of the lower balls has cleaned the pitch
command of any rolling.
Secondly, using 555mm blades rather than 560 / 600 ones with my OS 46 hs
Thunder Tiger Pro 70 Tuning Question14 Oct 2003 00:18 GMT3
I'm a newbie to the group and have not been flying long.  I have a
Raptor 60 with the pro 70 engine which I am trying to tune.
Just so I am clear..........when you turn the needle adjustment
clockwise it is leaning the mixture and vice verca.....right?
E-Flight shop alive and well?13 Oct 2003 23:46 GMT3
Has anyone had any recent success in getting hold of anyone at
e-flight.co.uk?  I've sent several emails over the past few weeks, all
with no reply.  I'd read that they were on vacation, then they
apparently had a death in the family, but I sort of figured I'd

Howdy Yall
I know I am going to get pumelled for this, but I bougt a new canopy for my

like, Sport 500. The old canopy  I never had any trouble with until I
