I was just watching a bunch of videos of some pros, and it seems they all
auto rotate their landings by hitting the throttle hold and bringing it in.
Is this for show or is there another reason?  Only other reasons I can think
of are maximum pitch for landing and better fuel ...

Is this worth chasing?  Whats it worth - as a non descript tuned pipe that
is.  Its so far a lot cheaper than a decent muffler.

I'll definitely check into the flight simulators. (Just got the flybar
working smoothly on the AeroHawk and I still can't fly this thing, hahaha!)
I was expecting much higher costs with simulators and controllers, good to
hear they are so affordable. Many thanks for all the help!

Started up my heli today.  Engine ran normal for few seconds, then increased
rpm suddenly for 1 sec, then dropped down for 1 sec, then went up again for
about 1/2 sec, then the engine quit suddenly.  Is it too lean or too rich?

Hi all. Been visiting this group daily for a few weeks now, seems to be the

trouble with the flybar setup. Is there a way of making sure the flybar
blades are 'level' other than 'eyeballing' them?I know, I should ...

I have some questions about the Draganflyer IV.
1)  On the technical diagram there is a "power switch" and an "arming
switch".  What does the arming switch do?
2)  Does the "camera connection" provide all of the power that the 2.4

I gather that JR has recalled all DS 8411 servos in the USA owing to a
design problem. They don't sell these for helis any more.
But what about the UK? Does anyone have information about this? It could be
very important.
