30 or 60 size?24 Dec 2003 09:14 GMT14
Totally new to R/C helicopters, but now at an age where money is
available... some spend their midlife crisis budget on a Harley, and I don't
like bikes, so what else is there (LOL). A childhood dream may become
reality. 6 to 7 years ago I flew 1/4 scale planes, so there is some

INTRODUCING. KLASS KOTE - "Superior Quality" Epoxy Paint System
KLASS KOTE is a series of two-component epoxy coatings available in a

Hi again:
Could those of you living in the US and NOT close to a hobby shop please

It has been suggested that a beginner look into purchasing an RC Flight sim.
As usual, I have been able to find software for windows, but not for
Macintosh OS X.  Suggestions are appreciated.

Fighterbirds from Hobby Town?22 Dec 2003 01:32 GMT6
I know this isn't a helicopter question but none of the other R/C
Groups appear to be active.
There are some nice cheap toys called Fighterbirds where they use a
sound pulse to shoot each other out of the sky by stopping the
Should I resserect SuperMantis21 Dec 2003 23:08 GMT1
I need some advice.

How to mount a gear (cog) onto engine shaft21 Dec 2003 10:36 GMT14
Can anybody tell me how I might go about mounting a gear onto the shaft of
an IC motor? It's for an onboard electric starter thing I'm working on.
It's just occurred to me that there might be a cog available which has a
sort of collar on it with a set-screw in there.. this would ...
JR tranny servicing - where in UK?19 Dec 2003 23:07 GMT9
I have a JR X-3810 (non ADT) and I I think the pots are starting to go a wee
bit scratchy.  I've used it on the sim for many hours and it could probably
do with a new set of pots and a broken switch replaced.  Who can I contact,
how much is it likely to cost and how long can I ...
Is Hummingbird = Piccolo?19 Dec 2003 22:07 GMT1
Is the hummingbird just a licensed piccolo sold by a different company? They
look exactly the same.

Resurecting A Stored Raptor19 Dec 2003 06:10 GMT2
I built a Raptor 30 3 years ago, but i never managed to fly it, as i could
never get the CSM flight sim to work on my computer, and didn't have the
confidence to try with the real thing.
However, having bought a new computer, i finally got the simulator working,
