Can someone tell me where to start to look for a RC helicopter for a new
hobby?  What are decent brands?  What to look for?  Thanks for any ideas.

I recently sold all my models & radio gear (big mistake) to do a different
hobby but i now regret it badly.
I used to really enjoy flying my Xcell pro 2k as this was a cracking
machine.

Centrifugal load on blade holders14 Dec 2003 13:53 GMT7
Is anyone aware of an online or download able calculator
that will compute the load on things such as the blade
holders on our helicopters?  I imagine the input numbers
would involve radius, RPM and weight of blade.  Thanks.

Nexus Discontinued?13 Dec 2003 23:25 GMT2
I was checking out the tower hobbies web site and it's showing that the Nexus
models are discontinued.  What a bummer, are they replacing them with different
models or are they getting out of heli's?  They didn't even show the tiny ad
for the Raptor they usually carry but don't push ...

servos, 2 battery packs, and the gyro).
Chrismas is coming up and I would love to have a small heli for the back

A word of warning to any of you who run TT engines and use Coolpower fuel...
I recently had to send my TT Pro39H engine back to Amerang for repair as the
piston broke. They have repaired it for me and returned it with a note to
say that the damage was apparently caused by running a ...

I've been admiring your fine hobby for a while now. Wish I could afford to
get into it! (time and money)
I was just wondering if anyone knew of a flying model chinook helicopter
with two rotors. That would be pretty cool. But what do I know?!

construction of rc heli12 Dec 2003 11:03 GMT3
I have some newbie questions:
1. Would a double prop rc heli be feasible to build?
2. How are rc choppers usually steered, weight shift?
3. Would it be possible to mount a "weapon" on such a heli,

At last today it arrived, probably the first one in the UK:o) So now to
build it and see what it flies like?
