| Hoverfly II sim | 20 Jan 2004 22:39 GMT | 8 |
I thought the days of the floppy disk were numbered. I haven't had a floppy disk drive in the last two PC's I've owned and never needed one in the last 2 and a half years. However, it appears that the people who make the Hoverfly don't realise we live in 2004 and are supplying

| What could cause an in-air boom strike? | 19 Jan 2004 08:42 GMT | 7 |
5 minutes into my first flight today I had an in-air boom strike on my Raptor 50V2. It looked and sounded like I mid-air'd with someone, ka-boom, parts go flying, main blades wrap around, and to the earth it plummets (from 50-75' up). I'm in the middle of the teardown and let's ...

I have been doing some research to figure out which radio I want to get and found two T9chp radios (with S3001 servos) with different receivers, but I don't know what the difference is. One comes with a R149DP RX and the other comes with a R136HP RX. What is the difference

| Damn! More bits left over! | 18 Jan 2004 11:00 GMT | 6 |
Just for a laugh this one... Now completed the Raptor 50 build, what fun. Quite sad it's all over really - when I have recovered from the crippling financial implications of throwing a chopper inton the air I might have to buy another!

| FF9 question...anybody? | 18 Jan 2004 10:58 GMT | 2 |
The gyro menu confuses me - I think that in "std", i.e. standard mode, I set the normal and HH modes (so, UP at normal, 30% ish and DOWN at HH 90% ish. I switch from norm to HH on switch F. But then there is a second setting called "gy" and this is the one I don't uinderstand. In ...
