the stock motor/ESC.  It seems to be a silly question, but I want to
use 8 cell 2400 battery and am wondering what kind of connector should

What's flap damper durometer got to do with 3D?07 Jan 2004 01:08 GMT5
I'm fairly new to helicopters and am transitioning into 3D maneuvers.  The
Raptor 50V2 comes with 70 durometer flap dampers, but I see on rotor.com
(Singapore) that they have Thunder Tiger 80 durometer flap dampers "for 3D"
(PV0382).  I'm familiar with durometer values from roller ...

Beginner's Helicopter?06 Jan 2004 23:37 GMT2
Hummingbird or Lite Machine?
To tell the truth, I do like the Lite Machine 120 electric.  It
is a good solid machine that survives crashes.  And the reason
that I like electric is that even if I progress into a better

John have you still got the Piccolo for sale?

I just bought the GY401 and the instructions that come with it say to go to
the GYRO setting in the advanced menu of the 8uhp.  My 8uhp does not have a
GYRO setting (that I can find).  Is there an alternative menu selection
where I can set up this gyro for my radio?  I searched the ...

Struggling with Hummingbird04 Jan 2004 21:15 GMT2
I was given a hummingbird for Christmas - Great!
One or two small problems with the kit - I seems to have been sent without
the top half of the box, so I had to go back to the shop & get a gyro & the
instructions.

Well, I never thought that I would do it, but I have decided to take the
plunge into Helis after many years of fixed wing flying!
I have a Futaba T8UAF that I use with my airplanes. My question is: has
anyone had any experience using this radio with Helis? It's basically the
