Covering for wooden blades04 Jan 2004 11:20 GMT4
On my second flight the covering on my Raptor's wooden blades came off
at one of the blade tips. Any hints and tips on repairs, etc.. (The
blade holders are epoxied to the blade, so this may be an issue)
Thanks,
Gyro for the cyclic?04 Jan 2004 11:03 GMT5
Has anybody tried to use a second gyro to stabilize the fore/aft or
left/right movements of a heli? Seems to me it could save a novice from a
few crashes... almost like a training platform?

Kalt Heli04 Jan 2004 10:41 GMT3
I thought I might revive my Kalt Space Baron. Anyone knows of a place to get
spare parts? (they are out of business, unfortunately)

Suitable motor for mini heli?04 Jan 2004 02:50 GMT1
Hi, I'm, looking at making a mini rc helicopter, one that is as light as
possible for indoors flying.
Can anyone suggest a motor for the top prop and what gearing ratio to use?
I want it to lift at least a light chassis the motor itself, two 1/3 aaa
Is it me...03 Jan 2004 23:49 GMT2
Or are there more and more people saying ...
"I'm new to this and cost is not an issue..."
Maybe these guys would like to contribute to my household purse?

Tail rotor and main rotor03 Jan 2004 22:27 GMT5
I'm building my first model the raptor v2 .30  It doesnt say in the
manual how tight and how to line up the tail rotor.  Should the blades
be really tight or what?  Also the main blades should they be tight.
Thanks for any advice,
Have Century cut down their range of Sceadu upgrades?03 Jan 2004 14:30 GMT1
On Century's site, haven't been there in a while and there doesn't seem to
be much for the Sceadu. Have they cut down the range?

FS: Kyosho Concept 30 DX with OS 32 FS-H Heli Engine03 Jan 2004 12:56 GMT2
This is an older (~1992 or 1991, I think) Concept 30.  It includes the
full kit (partially assembled) and the engine. If I recall correctly,
the engine was broken-in but not run. No servos or gyro.  This would
make a great trainer machine or (possibly) spare parts machine.
SHUTTLE PLUS VS RAPTOR V203 Jan 2004 08:53 GMT3
New into the helicopter models which of these two kits would be a good
choice for a beginner, and why. Cost is not a factor just ease of
training and upgrade ability.
Thanks
Which Flight Sim?03 Jan 2004 04:36 GMT1
Im in the market for a heli sim, Ive got a powerful pc so graphic
intense programs won`t be an issue.
What I do want is to use my FF8 radio and realistic as possible
feedback.
Piccolo and Eolo03 Jan 2004 01:39 GMT2
Just for my curiosity, has anyone done some research between these two micro
machines?
Thanks in advance
Venture helicopter muffler - Recommendations?02 Jan 2004 23:18 GMT4
I have a JR Venture 30CP and have the standard JR muffler installed on
it.  I have found that this thing is not worth the bag that holds it
after some run time.  I am new to copters, so I am still learning to
hover, but this muffler makes a COMPLETE MESS out of my helicopter.
