Humble Bee / Honey Bee / E-sky13 Sep 2004 20:31 GMT5
Anybody have any experience with this little electric helicopter? Thinking
about getting in to the hobby, and this looks like an easy way to start out.  I
just don't know if I could handle the initial assembly (and ineveitable
repair...) of something along the lines of a Raptor.
Manifold broke13 Sep 2004 10:25 GMT1
My hatori manifold/header has managed to turn itself into a 2pc unit ;)

I'm building an RC autogyro glider, but cannot find diddly squat information
on the arofoil section, or pitch angle. I have experimented with many foils
and pitches and angles to direction of airflow but cannto get lift.

Why did this helicopter crash ?11 Sep 2004 23:48 GMT45
This week I have uploaded a video of a helicopter crash on my website
(www.dappa.nl/crash.htm). Does anyone have a clue about the failure that
caused this crash? It is definately not an engine failure or a tail rotor
failure, but it still looks like a spectacular decend.
First crash questions10 Sep 2004 14:56 GMT10
Well it finally happened; I had my first crash with my Hawk Sport
(third flight without training gear). I don't feel so bad because I
feel that I'm well overdue for my first crash at 15hrs and about 57
flights (flying figure 8s pretty well, starting to work on nose in
Throttle Settings10 Sep 2004 13:01 GMT8
I have a question about setting the throttle throw.
I set up the throttle servo arm to the length stated in the manual (14mm on
X-Cell Gas, Zenuah 23cc engine) when I built the machine, and never changed
it. However, when looking into the carburetor, I can see that the disk
mis-fire10 Sep 2004 12:15 GMT6
With the OS91 C Spec engine in the hover, I've got a mis-fire, is this due
to a lean or rich mixture? the heli is great in a full throttle climb but
when you land and the engine is ticking over the same mis-fire is there.
