Little Project..!17 Nov 2004 17:10 GMT3
I want to add a bright LED to my heli, that I could switch on and off from
the transmitter.
I can use my "spare" ch5 on my receiver to do this.  Not knowing anything
about this I tested the red and black wires for voltage, expecting it to be

Looking for a flying buddy. The City of SD. I'm near 30th & Adams. My skill

work and fly only during 10am - 4pm.

Old Sanwa receiver16 Nov 2004 21:33 GMT1
I came in a slightly complicated situation when I had to fix an old RC car
recently. The old setup consists of old Sanwa servos and receiver. One servo
(and now also the other) broke and I replaced it with a new Futaba. To get
this to work in the system I had to switch the ...

End of day14 Nov 2004 21:52 GMT5
Isn't it great when you've finished flying for the day, the machine's all in
one piece, and you KNOW you pushed yourself to the limit....if not a tad
beyond?
Weather here in Manchester was cold and grey today but we had an early start
Thunder Tiger 39---unstable mixture setting...any ideas for cure?14 Nov 2004 07:07 GMT6
Fellow flyers,
I have two TT39's with the same problem.  They'll fly OK, then the
next day require major turns on the mix setting (e.g.  30 clicks!) to
get the mix set.  Now I have to make changes between flights.
Can you use a heading hold gyro while doing a loop?  Wouldn't it freak at the top of the loop?13 Nov 2004 23:24 GMT3
I'm just getting into heading hold mode on my gyro (and liking it).
I'm almost ready (or so I think) to try doing loops.
It seems like the HH gyro would freak at the top of the loop, since
the heli has "rotated" 180 degrees without any rudder input.  What
Any tricks to starting a YS 90?  What is a good plug?13 Nov 2004 04:11 GMT1

Smartech Aerohawk Parts11 Nov 2004 19:31 GMT1
I'm living in the San Francisco Bay Area and am getting tired of have
replacement parts shipped up from Los Angeles. Does anybody know of a shop
in the Bay Area that sells Smartech Aerohawk replacements parts, or maybe
Hummingbird parts (assuming they're compatible)?
Quick Helis11 Nov 2004 17:01 GMT1
Can anyone tell me about the Quick helicopter. I now fly a Raptor, but I
like to upgrade to a aluminium helicopter. Will the Quick be a good choice??
