New Raptor 50 almost ready to fly.....20 Jul 2005 16:22 GMT2
OK, I've got the "new" Raptor pretty much good to go, but need a
little assistance on initial engine setup.  Anyone got a good starting
point for the O.S. .50 SX-H?  Don't have a manual for the engine and
could use a hand.
Anyone in Oz want Relaflight G2. I'm selling up20 Jul 2005 12:51 GMT2
I'm selling my copy of Realflight G2 with the parallel port interface to
suit a JR radio.
CD and interace only. Threw the box away ages ago and I'm keeping the
realflight mouse pad.
TT50 idle problems while cold.19 Jul 2005 05:42 GMT2
My TT50 in a Raptor 50 keeps dying as soon as I remove the glow
warmer. I have changed the plug. If I spool it up it stays running
fine. After flying the tank almost empty, it idles fine too.  So it
seems to be happening while the engine is still cold. Is it a low end

Well took the Heli out yesterday and put 5 tanks of fuel through it and
everything was fine. Really getting good at tail in hovering. Took her

Out of curiosity18 Jul 2005 06:35 GMT5
I am very new to the hobby and I own a Blade CP by E-Flite. I thought to
learn about RC Helis cheaper than buying a $1000 heli only to find I didnt
like the hobby. So I bought a micro electric. I realize my first mistake in
hindsight. I should have spent my $200 on real flight ...
Stolen Gear-OZ18 Jul 2005 01:50 GMT1
Those of you who've been around a few years may remember that I lost all
my helis and tools to  some arseholes who took them out of my garage.
Well this time they went through the house and took all my wifes
jewelery, all our DVD's and more heli gear.

T-rex Vs Butterfly16 Jul 2005 11:03 GMT1
While i was flying my T-rex in my garden this morning, i witnessed something i have never seen before. A common white butterfly seemed to be attracted from about 20 ft away & flew straight into the rotor, as if hypnotized, He flew directly into the top of the rotor, with the ...
How old is too old???16 Jul 2005 06:29 GMT4
Used to fly a Schluter JR50 back in the early/mid 90's and shelved it
when parts availability made it too risky to fly.  Somewhere in that
couple years I scored 4 gallons of CoolPower 30% heli fuel.  The box
has never been opened and it's been stored in my garage for all this

Kyosho concept 60 fuel15 Jul 2005 11:02 GMT4
Sorry to ask basic question but I read of people using 30% nitro fuel in
there heli's. I'm having trouble getting my heli to run properly I have
invested in some headloaders and tied the heli down and set the engine up
and it appeared to run ok through the rev range I had to ...
Webra 35H non competition13 Jul 2005 16:39 GMT1
I recently fried one of these engines. At the time I couldn't understand
why, it always seemed to be running very rich. I did think it odd too though
that the most reliable setting 3/4 turns on the main needle was so far away
from the manufacturers default of 2.5 turns.
