| Wanted a Blade CP...got a Blade CX | 31 Dec 2005 07:20 GMT | 4 |
I really wanted the CP, but the sales guy was very nice and asked if I wanted to fly, or be waiting outside his door the day after Christmas waiting to buy parts. He even fired up a CX, and I was hovering it around the store.

| cyclone | 31 Dec 2005 01:03 GMT | 1 |
I have a cyclone rc helicopter, I have the rotor adjusted, but cannot seem to find an adjustment for the main rotor, is there such a thing. To be able to get even close to take off I have to pitch it to the right. Would have thought there was some adjustment somewhere.

| gyros on planes | 29 Dec 2005 16:19 GMT | 4 |
I stumbled across a post awhile back that mentioned putting a gyro on the rudder of a plane and was wondering about how beneficial it would be and how well (or poorly) it would work. If you try to roll the plane using ailerons (with no rudder inputs)

| Reflex XTR frame rate instability | 29 Dec 2005 12:09 GMT | 2 |
I've had Reflex XTR for a few days now and really like it. One thing I've noticed though is that on my system (both desktop and laptops actually) the frame rate occasionally drops to as much as a quarter of the normal rate for about 20 seconds or so before jumping back up to its ...

| Reflex XTR vs G3 | 24 Dec 2005 19:18 GMT | 6 |
I downloaded the demo for Reflex XTR, and I must say I'm impressed. Is G3's graphics anywhere close? I don't have a radio and would have to purchase one for the Reflex XTR, so that will make it more expensive for sure.

| Reflex models and setup site? | 24 Dec 2005 17:31 GMT | 4 |
I just bought Reflex XTR today. Are there any good websites out there with additional setup advice for optimal realism? I've got it all working but the Raptor 30 doesn;t behave at all like the one I used to own. Far too squirrely, like there's no control or helicopter inertia at ...

| Will 8 AA NiMH batteries suffice in the transmitter? | 16 Dec 2005 22:05 GMT | 1 |
I just ordered a RotoFly. Can't wait for it to arrive. The transmitter is a 4-Channel by Futaba. It takes 8 AA batteries. Will NiMH batteries work okay?

| What simulator best to learn Heli? | 16 Dec 2005 04:21 GMT | 3 |
RealFlight G3? My system should be able to handle any software. I need one with the controller. Any recommendations? I don't plan to be an expert from the Sim, it's just

| Two more questions (sorry!) | 05 Dec 2005 12:41 GMT | 88 |
1. In a hover with the nose directly into the wind, my Raptor 50v2 needs substantial right cyclic trim. I know that this is required to offset the tail rotor thrust. At present the swashplate is level if I take the trim off and center the stick, and the aileron servo is centered, ...
