How much G force on the blades?26 Feb 2006 09:32 GMT12
I have a question that might tickle those grey cells!  Do you know (or are
you) a good maths person?
A helicopter rotor blade, with radius r is doing n rpm.
Calculating the speed at the tip is easy - done that. It's high!
Wanted to Sell  Aerochopper in Box16 Feb 2006 00:19 GMT1
I tried eBay but nobody even saw the auction. The controller is in good
condition. I have the original box. I also got a software update a while
back which fixed some bugs. I don't see myself doing rc and I just as well
could make a buck. I paid $250 originaly so I'd like a ...

Field force 9 question...13 Feb 2006 19:13 GMT3
related to F/w really, but here goes...I'm fitting a H9 P51, paired
ailerons, two flap servos, two elevator servos, throttle, rudder, gear. Can
this be done on an 8ch Rx? I have used the "ailevator" mix for the two
elevator servos but this now seems to preclude using a spare ...

Just taken delivery of my "new" FF9 T9CP and have two questions...

2.  The gyro menu confuses me - I think that in "std", i.e. standard mode, I
set the normal and HH modes (so, UP at normal, 30% ish and DOWN at HH 90%
Shuttle ZXX Blade Grip Question09 Feb 2006 22:33 GMT3
I'm rebuilding the blade grips on a ZXX with stock pieces. The instruction
drawings, working from the inner portion out, show a ball bearing, a thrust
collar, a thrust race, the thrust bearing, another thrust race, and finally,
another ball bearing. My question centers around the ...

Hey people.

The Heli, controller, packs and charger came as a set, though I do not
trust the battery charger as it is a 2 hour one and I fear that

New to helos05 Feb 2006 23:48 GMT11
I'd like to get into this hobby but before buying my first, I would
like to get an informative "beginners" book to learn the basics. Can
anyone suggest something useful preferably that I can get in Australia.
Thanks Steve
