hello all, please excuse the elementary nature of this post,
I saw a friend with a RC helicopter-- probably the picoZ  -- and i have
to have something like that.  I plan to fly this thing indoors.  The
hobbytron website had a lit of interesting models, the "winner" and the

I bought the Reflex simulator and thought about getting the $22 Esky FMS
controller to practice while deciding what helicopter and tx I'll buy but I
was told that it might not work with Reflex since it's connected to the USB
port.

Can somebody who had experience with trex 450 and a larger helicopter such
as trex 600, raptor 50 or similar tell me how much less stable trex 450 is?
Is it a huge difference or moderate?

Everything I read says not to discharge the batteries below 3 volts.

The TX chews up batteries!
If I get 8 ni-cads, the TX has a charge port, can I use my 120
volt-to-12 volt charger adapter (that plugs into the balance charger) to
charge the TX batteries?

I just replaced the boom on my cp, I'm not much of a glue expert.
Please advise me what I should use, maybe something I can pick up at
Home Depot.

After a few boom strikes and assorted newbie tail slides the boom is
taped up and weakened.
I bought a new boom (and gearbox incase I need it.)
