What do you do when the 1/2 turn min adjustment on the pitch rod moves
a blade from 10mm lower to 10mm higher !?
Blades were balanced statically BTW

Back in the days when I learned, it was an absolute requirement to set
the curves to hover at mid stick. The manual for my (very old) radio
emphasizes this very strongly.

I'm guessing too low rotor speed and pulling back upon earth contact,
but I'm not sure.  Am I seeing a flybar and paddles?  Either way, it
makes me cringe.  But, then again it looks like an electric, so it can't

Just got the thing to hover nicely when smoke started pouring from the speed
controller, melting it and the battery and 'welding' the connector together,
so's I couldn't get even to power it off without cutting the leads at the
battery end....need a new Spedd controller and a new ...

How do the electric helis obtain a constant headspeed?
My Raptor 50 has a governor that adjusts the throttle to keep the
headspeed constant.
I guess you could to exactly the same with an electric, and simply

I have a RAPTOR 30 V2 which I recently converted to electric (using
the TPPACKs conversion kit.) You may assume that this heli has flown
for 3 years like a dream as a gasser.
The conversion kit also came with a new MAIN GEAR (111 tooth, versus

I finally went back to the dark side and got out my Nexus.  After not
running it for 3 years, I got the engine working, charged the
batteries, and went to the field.  Several nice guys helped get it
working, adjusted the tracking, trims, and even the hover settings
