Basic clutch questions31 Oct 2003 21:48 GMT3
As I mentioned in a previous posting here, I recently purchased a
Dynamite TNT .12R for a project. I just realized that I need the
engine to idle without engaging what it's driving, so I guess I need
some sort of inertial clutch. I don't have one, nor do I have a car

dad (I think, it happened very quickly) was working on a 10th scale touring
car at the breakfast table........

HPI Racing Clutch Problem29 Oct 2003 12:18 GMT2
I recently installed a HPI Racing Clutch.  Followed the instructions
for installation.  Installed the clutch on the mid range holes.
Everything went fine.  Put the engine back in my RS4 RTR 3 and had no
problems.  When I tried to run my car this is where I noticed the car

LiPoly cells28 Oct 2003 21:40 GMT16
I saw the thread about the Las Vegas show and the mention of LiPoly cells.
I did a google search on them and I see that there are some retailers
selling the LiPoly cells.  However, all of the dealers I came across were
from overseas (I am in the US).  Does anybody know where LiPoly ...
Pinion gear and motor spur gear contact28 Oct 2003 20:41 GMT20
When putting the teeth of the pinion gear and the motor together, how
tight should the contact be? I had to break my car down to rid the motor
of some tiny gravel bits that got in it. After putting it back together,
it doesn't have the "roll" it did before after I let off of the

T-Maxx braking modification that rocks! and it's free!27 Oct 2003 02:41 GMT2
Night before last I came across an article on the web that showed how
to make the T-Maxx brake better.  Mine was really crappy.  Like
stopping a semi (50' to stop).  When I first got my Maxx it would endo
when you applied the brakes.  During break-in it rounded out the disc.
T-Maxx fuel requirements27 Oct 2003 01:04 GMT1
I've got a T-Max which I've had for a couple of weeks now, really enjoying
it (my first nitro r/c model) now that it's run in properly.
In the manual and on the Traxxas web site them emphasise that you should
always stick to the same nitro content fuel that you ran in on.  I.e. if ...
