Kyosho Mad Force17 Jan 2004 08:45 GMT1
Has anyone heard about and electric version of the Mad Force coming out?
Question regarding scale compared to full size15 Jan 2004 09:04 GMT6
I got to thinking about scale racing as compared to full size racing.
Say I'm racing a 1/10 scale car.  If I wanted to duplicate an existing
full sized track, I'd merely scale everything down by 10, right?  So a
1/2 mile straight would be 264' for the R/C car.  But say it gets up
Who's got videos?15 Jan 2004 02:56 GMT10
My wife has only seen me goofing around in the yard or alley,
never saw me, or anyone else racing.
I want to show her some racing videos and the like.
Does anybody have some good videos on their site they want
Team Associated RC10 B3 or B414 Jan 2004 13:51 GMT6
I'm looking at the RC10 B3 Factory Team and the B4 Stealth; I've been
out of the RC world for a few years, but I'm not totally new.  I would
like something that is going to be around for a while (where parts are
available for a few years at least) and I don't need the
Newbie Spare Parts advice....14 Jan 2004 11:08 GMT4
This post might be a bit long winded so if you want to cut to the chase
please scroll down to the last para.
Well after wanting to get into R/C cars for years as a kid, but never having
the money, I am finally in the position where I am about to make my first
LIFE on the RED PLANET? DEAD in the RED SEA!12 Jan 2004 19:11 GMT45
Looking for life and water on the bottom of the RED Planet,
and finding WATER and DEATH on the bottom of the RED Sea,
on the SAME DAY...
They first claimed it was surely NOT a terrorist attack...
Bulk Fasteners12 Jan 2004 17:48 GMT9
We race a bunch of various Team Associated electric vehicles. I try to
keep a few of the common parts that we brake on hand.
I'm organizing my parts and see that I'm low on fasteners. Like screws
in button, cap, flat heads in various sizes...also nuts etc.
Ky Inferno 2 Speed Gearbox11 Jan 2004 22:12 GMT1
Hi People,
Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a 2 speed gearbox into a Kyosho
Inferno MP 7.5 Sports?
Has it been done? Possible? Impossible? Good Idea? Stupid Idea?
Newbie looking for a good electric on-road11 Jan 2004 07:34 GMT14
I'm considering a foray into R/C cars.  I've flown R/C planes and am
thinking I'd like cars as well.  I'm a big (full scale) auto racing
fan, so I think it would be really neat to have a car that's
modifiable enough to be able to tweak some real car settings (spring
How built is the Nitro TC3 RTR set?10 Jan 2004 14:00 GMT2
I'm wondering how built up the Nitro TC3 RTR set is.  I like the
price/value point of this set, since I'm new to R/C cars and doubt
seriously I'll race to the extent that my car would be tweaked to the
nth degree.  However, I'd very much like to assemble the entire thing
OS CV-15 engine NO COMPRESSION on pull start10 Jan 2004 11:34 GMT9
I have an OS CV-15 with pull start that has no compression with the pull start
system. I pulled the start system off of the motor and everything looks fine. I
pulled the glow plug and the piston does not move up and down with every pull
of the cord. The piston will move normally ...

Electric racers in Portland, OR?09 Jan 2004 01:08 GMT2
Anybody out there race electric cars in the Portland, OR area?  I've
located an all nitro club, but no luck on finding any electric clubs
or racetracks.
Thanks.
T-Maxx maintenance questions08 Jan 2004 22:33 GMT3
I had to change spur gear on my T-Maxx. So, I removed the engine (I decided
to clean in the same time) and changed the gear. Now when I turn the gear it
touches the battery holder by one side.
Looks like it bent.
Cleaning: Another Newbie Question08 Jan 2004 20:20 GMT3
Hi People,
In my on road gas car, under the body shell there is the usual coating of
dust a crap plastered all over the place, I was wondering what people use to
clean their cars. There is a light coating of stuff all over the place,
