Couple of questions about Tamiya body shells :
1 - What is the easiest way to remove old paint from a laxan Tamiya
body shell so that I can repaint. Obviously I don't want to use
something that will damage the plastic.

I have a Tamiya XBG (TGS Chassis) Nitro Road car which I want to make
faster. As advised by someone on here, I got hold of the Tamiya "Tuned Gear
Set" but I have absolutely no idea where to start to install it?

Who's got feedback, Is it worth it?

I opened my old Tekin speed control and found what I believe is a blown
capacitor.  Does anyone know what to ask for from Radio Shack so that I can
attempt a repair?  I'm already prepared to lose the whole thing, and I have
experience soldering.

What do you do with the bit of antenna which is left poking out over the top
of the plastic tube? I know you're not supposed to cut if off .... If I
leave it just floating around in the breeze am I risking it rubbing through

How can I modify my transmitter to make it less sensitive with th
steering. I would assume that if I placed a resistor somewhere I coul
tone this beast down but I don't know where or what I should use. Coul
I make variable by using a veristor of some kind.
