t maxx brake problem08 Jun 2004 04:40 GMT2
Hi
I got a new t-maxx last week. During the break in period the brakes
began to fail even though I was driving easy. Examination of the disc
showed that it was rounded in the centre. I got a new disc and pulled

Have heard a few nightmares about drivetrain probs.

Nitro fuel...07 Jun 2004 14:56 GMT6
Was just reading an Ebay auction, and noticed that the seller said he used
Tornado fuel, not Model Technics (don't know if these brands are available
in the US, as i'm in the UK :) ) because the MT fuel wasn't very good?  Is
this true?  I figured all the brands would be the same, ...
Best Buy07 Jun 2004 14:55 GMT3
This must have been asked quite a few times before.  I am a total novice and
am looking to buy a off road electric car.  I would like recommendations,
but I dont want something that will only satisfy me for a short period of
time.
**Leaky engine!!!!**07 Jun 2004 14:53 GMT6
I have a 1/8 scale offroad Buggy, as well as a 1/10 scale Traxxas Nitro
Rustler, and the pullstarter is slipping when the engine is cold.  I know
the reason for this (the one-way bearing gets caster oil-soaked, but when
it's started (finally) the oil is slung off the shaft, causing ...

Getting Back Into It / Starting a Track07 Jun 2004 13:55 GMT8
Wow.  It's been about 12 years since I was in this hobby, and it's
interesting how things really haven't changed much (at least from what
I can tell) with regard to what's available.
I got into R/C off-road when I was 14 or 15 years old with a Team

Well, the new engine is almost here (Hyper 21 8 Port), and am now thinking,
maybe my Phaser 4 RS could benefit from a 2 speed box....
Anyone changed a 1/8th buggy from 1 speed to 2 speed before?  Did it make
much difference?  Right now i have a 14t clutch bell,  and the one the 'box
Savage 25 Brake help05 Jun 2004 04:48 GMT6
Does anyone else with the Savage 25 have problems with their brake hub
stripping the inside of the disc? I have gone through 2 of them already. Any

Chaning nitro % on an engine05 Jun 2004 02:01 GMT1
I was looking at buying a different rig to add to by tmaxx.  Iwas looking at
the used market and saw some buggys and statiums trucks that interested me.
Some had been run on 10%. If i were to buy one of these and wanted to switch
it over to 20% would there be any negative side ...
Official speed records04 Jun 2004 21:32 GMT2
Is there an official speed record for RC cars? If not, why doesn't someone
like the BRCA set one up? Wouldn't it be great to attend a record breaking
day at somewhere like Santa Pod? Come on guys lets get a good forum going...
Cheers, Stevie
