Wobbly Wheels!10 Jan 2005 05:10 GMT5
New to RC Nitro cars and just bought a Power Racing Products Swift 4WD RTR
off road buggy.  Three of the wheels have side play or float (bit like you
get with a full size car if the bearings are slack) one wheel of the wheels
doesn't!
Problems with electronic speed controller08 Jan 2005 09:30 GMT3
I've put together a Tamiya Baja King "for the kids"... Ahem.
It came bundled with a Futaba T2ER transmitter, FP-R122JE receiver,
2 S3003 servos (only one used, for steering) and the Tamiya TEU-101BK
electronic speed  controller. I used the motor supplied in the kit.

I have recently bought myself a Traxxas Revo truck, and am fairly new to the
"rc thing". In the Traxxas documentation, it states that WD-40 should be
used, during after run maintenance in the piston and carb. But all the web

Guys,
Have just bought an Acoms Techniplus radio unit for my first car.
I see the unit has a 12v DC socket on the bottom, the literature
indicates that this can be used to recharge Ni-Cd's installed in the unit.

Third Channel Ideas04 Jan 2005 21:31 GMT4
Like many racers, I have a 3-channel FM radio.  All my recievers are 3
channel as well.  None of my vehicles make use of the third channel.
I was wondering if anyone has found a use for it in an electric racing
vehicle.  Since I am not of the "technical driver" type and more prone ...
What would you recommend?04 Jan 2005 17:54 GMT5
I have wanted to get into the world of RC for a while now, and at last the
better half has said I can go purchase a car.
I am however a complete newbie to the world of RC and would love some
advice.

HiTec servo range04 Jan 2005 12:58 GMT1
Hi, I'm looking to buy a good high torque servo for non-competition fun
and noticed the Tower Hobbies web site lists  two different types of
servo - one is J and the other is S/JR/Z.  This might be a stupid
question but I want to make sure before I order - if I have a basic AM

We bought our son a Nikko Hummer for Christmas.  Piece of CRAP.
Second time we turnewd it on, white smoke, and the circuit board was

Is this possible? If so, who does it?

2wd vs. 4wd01 Jan 2005 15:50 GMT3
I have been saving some money to get into Nitro RC and am starting to look
around on eBay and some of the online stores at vehicles. I was wondering
what is the advantage to buying a 2wd vehicle like a RC10 GT or a 4wd
vehicle like a Ultra LX Comp? Is there a performance or handling ...

New Nitro Rustler01 Jan 2005 02:32 GMT5
I have just received a TRX 2.5 Nitro Rustler for christmas, and Im
fairly new to the gas powered cars in general.  My question is about
