Had the Savage out for a disturbance of the peace this afternoon, the first
tank went great!  Overcome with tears of joy, sun warm temps, no wind, just
too good to be true!  Next tank of gas, got a bit sideways and slid off
course and tangled with the rocks in the fence row and ...

Could a reverse 9V battery in Controller enough to break the controller unit? 14 Apr 2005 14:55 GMT5
Just got a new RC vehicle with a 27Mhz controller.   I bought a brand
new 9V battery and when I put the battery in the controller, white
smelley smoke started coming out of it !!  Now the smoke seems to be
gone but needless to say, I cannot operate the vehicle with the

anyone know of a hardened (steel or aluminum) forward output drive by any
company that will still allow retention of  the use of reverse?
not the primary forward gear but the forward output gear (replacement for
traxxas part 4997)

What are some good suggestions for tires for a TMaxx that stick to really
hard packed dirt with a light dusty surface on top?
My friend has some that work well but I cant find the exact tire. They say
Ho Bao or something like that..I was thinking that they were made by Ofna?

Has anyone figured out a way to prevent this from happening? And I
don't mean buying a new receiver/transmitter. Seems people at Novak
could stop the SS5800 from generating so much radio interference. Any
succesfully cured glitching on there rc car with this setup?
