T-Maxx Transmission Question31 Jul 2005 17:34 GMT2
Question for y'all...................
Fired up my buddy's <new-to-him/used> T-Maxx today and noticed something
weird (at least I think).  The transmission doesn't engage until the RPM's
get up to a certain level.  The pinion and spur are moving just fine, but
Tower Hobbies St 15 stripping gears31 Jul 2005 06:22 GMT1
My St15 keeps stripping spur gears just wandering if it is the Masher

Pics of my Sav - Titanium fitted tonight :-)28 Jul 2005 11:37 GMT8
Well tonight i finally got round to fitting the Hardcore Racing bits to my
Sav :)  Apologies for the lack of inspirational backdrop for the truck!
Stuff fitted on really well, and being titanium, should be niiiiice and
tough, and give me sparks on landing :)  Also apologies for ...
Best Electric Stadium Truck28 Jul 2005 00:10 GMT12
I may be looking at getting a better stadium truck for racing soon, I
already have a Traxxas Rustler with a new steering servo, (having trouble
getting the steering centered by the way. . . so if anyone can tell me how
to do this I'd appreciate it), Speed Gems Amber 17T motor and ...
Engine Life!27 Jul 2005 21:46 GMT13
Bought a T-maxx 2.5 about 5 weeks ago.  My son and I ran it hard after the
suggested break in.  We were sure not to run the motor to lean.  Last time
out the motor shown some signs of bad compression.  We ran about 4 gallons
of fuel (maybe 35hrs) through it including the break in.  ...

Motor Gearing23 Jul 2005 00:10 GMT9
Ok, here is the deal, I bought a Speed Gems Pro Amber 17T motor to put into
my stock Traxxas Rustler with the X1 ESC.  The 15T 48P pinion gear I bought
didnt mesh right with the spur gear, I just left the stock 18T pinion in the
car (later found out that you can adjust the space ...
Help picking RC Truck/Hummer/etc22 Jul 2005 21:09 GMT2
I am looking for a vehicle to use as a video platform.  Somebody has a
nice setup using a Tamiya 1/12 scale M1025 Hummer.  I would like
something similar but would like more room for gear.  A nice 1/10-1/12
scale deuce or Humvee Ambulance would be perfect.  I am open to
ESC22 Jul 2005 02:18 GMT6
I'm thinking of ordering a Trinity Speed Gem Pro Amber 17T for my Rustler,
should I do this and keep the stock ESC or upgrade to a better ESC and even
lower turn motor?  I'm trying to find a good balance of power and runtime
and also I only have about 40 bucks to spend on the ESC ...
Bearings20 Jul 2005 20:43 GMT1
For my Traxxas Rustler I wanted to get sealed bearings, so I should get 5x11
with the RPM bearing carriers right?
Motor Upgrade20 Jul 2005 20:11 GMT15

LiPo20 Jul 2005 18:27 GMT2
I was going to buy this battery and need to know why it has 3 connections?
One is to power the car and one goes to the ESC for some reason right? What
about the third?

Got the Runs...20 Jul 2005 17:31 GMT3
Paint runs that is.  Decided to try my hand at painting my first car
body.  Of course being the inexperienced modeller that I am I was full
of eager anticipation, and more than just a dash of over confidence.
And now my car's body looks like an extra from Army of Darkness.
Wheelie Bar20 Jul 2005 17:03 GMT2
This is originally made for the Stampede but I was wondering if it would fit
on a Rustler.  Anyone know?
Also is there a full length aluminum plate I can get to keep the chassis'
underside from getting too beat up?
Just starting to mess around with Rustler20 Jul 2005 16:56 GMT1
