One of the cells in my battery pack has cracked open and it gets hotter then
the other cells when riding. Is this a well known scenario? And what is the
best solution to this problem?

Sunday morning, I'm waiting for my batteries to charge so I can take the
E-maxx out for a bash, so I'm just fiddling with the thing, looking over it
for any loose screws etc.  I flip the thing over and notice the driveshafts,
particularly the amount of wear in the unis, damn I never ...

Which is better build and good for backyard bashing ? I am talking both
vehicles in nitro . I was to get my son and I into nitro with a prebuilt and
use our electronics from our electric truck.
Any opinions on these two models ?

Hey I live in Aust.
I just got into RC Nitro Cars, I got my self a 1:6 Model Sedan, got a motor
with the size code of 25, It is 4WD and a 2 speed, it is pretty fast, but I
always thought that it would be a little faster, I have looked everywhere

Just getting started and i dont have alot of money to spend. I want a
eletric buggie that can have hop ups. I want to race it in races and
want it to be rtr or kit. I just dont want to spend money buying motors
and extra parts. If anybody can help thanks.

I am looking to get my first rc car and would like advise on what is
best to buy , i have been looking at nitro cars but these seem that
they might take a lot of tuning / maintenance.
I have around £150 - £200 to spend any recomendationas would be most

Where can you get parts for old Tamyia Modles?  ie. the Tamyia Fox....I had
one local hobby store search online for me but they couldn't find any....My
model still works but I'm afraid if I start to use it again I'll break
something.

just raced my ebay-ed ttr s-3 and came in fifth, considerig this was the
first time i have ever raced '8th scale and i've only had about 20 min
practice with it before race day, I think i did quite well and-- whad an
adventure, not to mention hat there where only 5 entrants, anyways ...

I have just recently gained some interest in r/c cars, and was looking
for some information on the best way to get started.  I am looking for
suggestions for a good starter car (new/used) that I do not have to
dump a ton of money into in case it becomes a dust collecting

An update for those interested:
All was going great with the ol' Savage 25 until a few tanks after the three
gallon mark.  It started when the right-rear carrier bearing blew it's guts
out at 40mph, completely lunching the rear differential in the process.
