Well I did anyway, last time I had the transmission apart (when I replaced the bent chassis plates) I adjusted the shift points for 2nd and 3rd (by half a turn on both screws!) and holy crap, I have a new truck! The whole time I have been tuning and getting the thing sorted it has ...

I've just noticed that quite a few hop-ups aren't available under their old codes, but I've also noticed that there are hop-ups similar. Is there some sort of conversion chart to say what the old/new hop-up codes are?

Can anyone tell me can I connect two 7.2 V Ni-MH packs in series to get 14.4V, use it for powering 20 W halogen lamp, and after power runs down disassemble it and charge 7.2 V packs separately, first one and then another.

FWIW, I noticed on the RCCA website that Orion has come out with a plastic encased 7.4v lipo battery for R/C cars. There is some interesting discussion on it.
