In the next week or so I am planning on buying one of these. But dont

The Traxxas Revo is well know and has a starter as the Duratrex
Warehead has a bigger engine and more options to set your truck
The Savage lives!30 Dec 2005 23:02 GMT9
Howdy y'all (ping: Dre and DanTXD),
Ok, so I had a few hours to tinker with the beast this PM and decided to
yank the fuel tank and test for leaks (again).  It was then that I noticed a
nice slime trail of oil running down the back of the motor from the header

Do it yourself BEC...28 Dec 2005 02:16 GMT10
The radio I have, a Futaba 2PL didn't come with BEC, so I want to build my

What would happen if I pulled pos and neg off of the main battery? Is the
voltage correct? Or will I blow up the receiver and/or servos?

My Savage23 Dec 2005 01:16 GMT13
Ok, so last night I pulled the gearbox out of my Savage again to adjust the
shiftpoints (1st and 3rd engage too late still).  Turned both screws out
90deg.  In doing so it got me thinking.
How does the box decide to which gear to use?  I understand how a 2 speed
Suspect ebay sales21 Dec 2005 07:37 GMT5
Was having a browse around on ebay this afternoon and came across a
interesting sale for about 13 Revo's, a couple of nitro boats and 8 Cen
Nemesis 7.7's.
The guy is selling them in 24 hours, in Aust dollars all starting at $19
S-Maxx, Sport Maxx, or Jato??21 Dec 2005 00:21 GMT16
Which of these choices would be best for bashing. 80/20 street/dirt
driving. No racing. I assume the Jato would be much more nimble than
the heavier Maxx trucks, but maybe not hold up as well jumping, and
going over rough terrain. Any comments? Thanks.
