Substitute for Revo Shift Servo?17 Feb 2006 08:36 GMT3
I have a Revo that the shift servo died in. I can swap the throttle
and shift servo leads, and the throttle servo works fine being
controlled by the shift channel, but the shift servo still does not
move, even on the throttle's cahnnel. Is there a suitable replacement
Thundershot?15 Feb 2006 18:07 GMT4
Here is a long shot.
does anyone here own a Tamiya Thundershot?
If so I would need  real size scan of both sides of the Motor mount in
order to make my own out of aluminum. It is very important that that

The "Original" Kyosho
On the topic of vintage R/C..............13 Feb 2006 22:22 GMT11
Here's a toughie for you guys.  When I was a young man my first hobby-grade
r/c was a Tamiya OR Kyosho (can't remember) 4WD shaft-driven buggy.  The
only identifiers I can remember were the dish wheels and a huge resistor in
a metal caging mounted just ahead of the rear body ...
Which Radio to buy13 Feb 2006 05:41 GMT8
Since everyone is on the topic of radios.  I would like to buy a radio
to run three different trucks.  (Savage 25, Warhead, Revo)  I have been
looking at the Futaba 3PM  (

Newbie Battery Question12 Feb 2006 07:42 GMT2
I'm trying to find out what the difference is in batteries.  I need to
replace the one I have, 7.2 Ni-Cd 1500mAH with a new one.  I see there
are all kinds of different batteries, what are the differences and
advantages between these, like Ni-Cd vs NiMH and various ranges up to
AE RC18t/MT10 Feb 2006 03:53 GMT4
First lemme say thanks for all the good info thrown around in here. I'm new
to RC'ing as of last year, bought a Savage on the groups advise and am
several hundred dollars poorer...
But, the reason for my post. I also bought an AE RC18T to use inside over
Traxxas can get stuffed!08 Feb 2006 22:23 GMT6

will not buy any more of their sh.t.

Hello All, How's it going?08 Feb 2006 09:33 GMT3
I'm new to this group but not to RC. Just thought I'd drop a line in to
introduce myself. I've been into RC for about 20 years now. My first RC was
a Tamiya Grasshopper with the 380 motor. Boy I had some fun times with that
one right up until I destroyed it that is. :-) Then ...
How best to clean Savage after run?08 Feb 2006 06:52 GMT6
My buddy, who bought me my Savage, usually cleans his Savage with a can of
spray cleaner bought at the hobby shop. It seems to take an entire can to do
the job effectively, and at $7+ per can, it seems to me there must be a more
cost-effective way to clean the truck. After running ...

Magazine and Online Reviews06 Feb 2006 16:47 GMT47
Howdy all,
Magazine/online reviews of r/c vehicles was mentioned in another thread and
I believe this merits starting a new thread.  The two big ones are RCU
(Remote Control Universe) and RCCA (Remote Control Car Action).
First truck06 Feb 2006 06:46 GMT25
Hello all!!
I am just getting into RC trucks and was wondering what you would
recommed as a good first vehicle.  Right now I am leaning towards the
T-Maxx, but from reading the post here I am starting to question that.
