which ball cups for servo linkages?30 Sep 2006 04:55 GMT1
So I go looking on towerhobbies.com for some extra ball cups.  They are
the ones that connect up to the steering servo arm ball, or the the
ball on say a slide carb.  Ultimately I want to make other linkages so
I can switch engines quickly.
best brand of 27 turn electric motors?29 Sep 2006 22:49 GMT8
from what i can tell all motors are not equal.  I've been told that good 27
turn motors can outperform cheaper 19 turn.  There's a guy at the club with
a brushless version and his lap times are better than the best 19 turn
modified.  I don't think i'll go that far yet.  Though ...
The Revo and some ramblings27 Sep 2006 20:23 GMT6
Seriously, I'm beginning to think this thing is invincible!  It just takes
abuse day in, day out, no matter what I do it refuses to break in any way -
I just soaks it up and asks for more!  Brilliant!  I think the motor is
starting to show a few signs of wear (I notice stupidly ...
Electric LST227 Sep 2006 18:53 GMT5
I just read the article in RC Car Action magazine about a brushless
conversion for an LST2 by Team Fine Design.  The result exceeded the
capabilities of the original nitro system - oh boy, I've got a crawler
but been wondering what sort of truck would be ideal as a racer.  The
Updated Pics and Spec sheet27 Sep 2006 01:50 GMT8
Just a few little pics of my trucks - no under body shots of the Revo as,
apart from red pushrods on the back, it's 100% stock :)  Savage has more
mods than you can shake a stick at (see after pics...)
Enjoy!
idle and lsn?26 Sep 2006 09:41 GMT9
Quick question (sorry if you've seen this on another board.. lol)
Tuning my 3.3 Maxx tonight I was having issues.  My 4th return because I
found out my idle gap was way too big..  linkage issue which has been
adjusted.  It was always 2-3mm and LSN was always 2-3 turns richer than

moist. I took my car to my fiances parents yard they about an an acre

TMaxx 3.3 lost it's wheelies.22 Sep 2006 03:14 GMT25
Hi, all.
Once I got the 3.3 broken in (heat cycle) the thing ran like a scalded
bear, rode wheelies until I decided to let it down, etc.
Temps after 2-3 high speed runs were in the 250s or so (ambient temps
Ofna 2-speed trans. in an MBX22 Sep 2006 03:10 GMT3
Anyone know how to adjust this thing? It doesn't shift into high, and
I suspect that it's because the engine in it doesn't have the RPMs the
origonal motor does. I see an access hole in the center rung (between
the 2 spurr gears). Ther are 4 screws that can be accesses, , ,two

Ahha!  Maxx 3.3 (Was 3.3 lost it's wheelies)20 Sep 2006 06:33 GMT5
So, I'm out banging my head on the wall trying to figure out what is the
problem and why my 3.3 won't wheelie anymore.
After WOT runs the idle seemed to stay up until I stopped completely.
Over and over..  thinking somethingn was hanging up on the clutch or

Wheels and pointless musings...19 Sep 2006 17:10 GMT3
Threw some 23mm hexes on the Sav beast tonight, it looked a little neglected
(it hasn't ran since the baby Revo arrived!), now running yellow dishes,
23mm hex, and Mulcher tyres (I just love them - so much grip).  Got a spare
set of 40 series Wabash 23mm hex wheels mounted with ...
