Learning How to Build an Electric Car29 Nov 2007 22:48 GMT2
Electric cars are becoming incredibly popular, namely because of how
friendly they are on the environment, and this is even more important
now with issues such as global warming going on in the world. There
are actually a few different types of electric cars available, but all

Hey Racer's,
I am back into R/C Racing (both Nitro and Electric) and I need a 75-100 watt

Any kits for converting nitro to electric?29 Nov 2007 09:44 GMT5
I kinda want to have an electric buggy, but I haven't found any electric
kits that look all that appealing. are there any kits for converting a
buggy, something like an 8ight, hyper7, or a kyosho buggy to electric,
preferably brushless? I've seen kits for the Revo, but no buggies ...
what should i  buy?29 Nov 2007 09:07 GMT10
My son is 13 and I think he would really enjoy the more sophisticated
RC devices.  Yet, I don't know where to begin.  He likes building
things, but hates painting (typical engineering type!).  What

how to pick an engine?14 Nov 2007 17:09 GMT3
Even though I'm having a blast with my Revo 3.3 I'm starting to look at
building a new system for next year.  Most of the time when I go to the
local track I'm the only one there.  I figure if I have 2 rc's, I could
throw a remote at my brother or wife or whoever to liven it up a ...
MRC Super Brain 977 any good?14 Nov 2007 07:59 GMT11
My old and trusty Tekin BC112 has finally died and I need another (about
$100) charger to handle my variety of NiCd and NiMh cells of many
configurations.  The Super Brain 977 seems like the one to play with, but
I've heard grumblings about previous models, so I question that.  Can ...

I live in Alaska, and I can not believe how many eBay auctions, by
people that live in the US, state that they only ship to the continental
US, even though the buyer pays the shipping, the REAL SHIPPING COST.
Half the people I ask seem like they don't even realize Alaska is a ...
